I’ve got 2 months and then I’m laid off

And the only reason I have 2 months is because it’s in our union contract. frick this shutdown. I hope we return to normalcy soon.

I go on 3 month furlough starting Wednesday. Only reason is because I was in the middle of a transfer overseas and I obviously can't travel overseas anymore.

I have no debt, no toys, drive a Corolla that I can fill up for $19. I can't imagine it helps taking my experience and education out of the industry. It damn sure won't help taking my income out of the economy.

I work at the old Ormet in Burnside. Corona has plummeted alumina prices to the point that cost to produce is now outweighing the profit. Plus our main customer has severely cut orders.
