After you retire, you find that Tuesdays are an excellent day to shop. The stores are restocked and there are not many shoppers there.

I’m a completely different person at work on a Monday vs Friday
this is a fact. The office as a whole feels so much lighter on a Friday

4/10s should be an option for the entire working force, minus the owners.

Wait until you retire. Then one day's like the next. You do look forward to mid-week early bird dining to beat the weekend crowds!

Once you retire, Monday will be the best. Everyone goes to work or school leaving easy access to national parks, the gym, grocery store, afternoon baseball games, etc

I’d love to be able to fish Monday - Thursday

Mondays got way easier for me when I stopped drinking my balls off from Thursday night through Sunday afternoon.

people who work 4/10's are usually in manufacturing or plant work.

The only place I've every worked 4/10s was an architecture firm. Head in still buzzed on Friday morning, show my face, and go change backup tapes at a few locations, drive back home, take a nap.

Tuesdays are worse than Mondays
I agree only because I generally put off my complicated work to Tuesdays. I get my easier tasks done on Monday.

Fridays are so much sweeter when you work a 4/10s schedule.
I’d have done that had it been available for me when I was an hourly employee.

It never was appropriate to my job responsibilities.

I’ve enjoyed so much freedom of my personal work schedule over the past 30 years that the thought of having a fixed rigid 40 hour weekly schedule would make me summarily leave.

You’re almost there. That being said my parents seem to be bored outta their minds sometimes. Only when the family comes around which is rarely do they seem truly happy

Yeah you right!

I hear everyday is Saturday in retirement.

Weeks away from crossing that threshold and looking forward to it!
