My tailgating crew at Rice
we were called come and tailgate it it had flags T- shirts kozzies
and the centerpiece for the table was an old SWC mid-50s track trophy Rice had won, festooned with participation ribbons from Special Olympics

Has there been any info on how/ why be went for his heart? Seems odd, unless it was some kind of angle thing. That doesn't seem like a defensive move.
If in fear, a few slashes of the knife and scatter off. But going straight for the heart is odd.

The easy explanation is that most people are right handed. If you're going to use a knife on someone, you're either going underhanded or overhand. Underhand gets them in the gut, overhand means heart/lung. The heart is closer to the midline than many people think, so the kid was probably just aiming about at center mass.
Its common for primates to specifically attack the faces and genitalia of other primates especially in inter-tribe wars, even though those don't present as much of a blood loss risk as going after the throat, etc. It's not uncommon for animals to try to "make a point" with their violence, but I'm not making that specific linkage in this case.

A lot of white kids are entitled and arrogant. A lot of black kids lack empathy and are ultra aggressive. White kid pushes the envelope and black kid fails to control his emotions and impulses. White kid is dead and black kid is going to jail. Both are a symptom of their cultures. I think one culture is superior to the other, simple because one just makes you an ahole, the other makes you a murderer.
