I always wondered what it felt like too. A couple years ago, the company I work for opened up a shop in Minot, ND. I had to go up there in the dead of winter. It was -13 pretty much the entire week I was there. I find that kind of cold hurts. Especially when there is wind, which made it worse. My nose ears and toes would start to get numb just walking outside for a few minutes. Just walking to the car. It was miserable. I really don't get how people can just get use to that. But then again, we get use to the excessive heat....

I think the short days in the winter and cloudy days in the winter are much more depressing than a cold crisp day with sunshine.
Just layer up and you are good. But you can't create daylight.
Top winter issues for me in order:
snow falling on road(handful of times a year problematic)
windy days (worse than temperature drops)
lack of sunshine/short days
length of season (last year got snow into April)

this girl i know just sent me a snapchat from wisconsin and its -26 up there. apparently its colder there than it is in antartica currently
It is quite warm and comfortable under the snow.
And antarctica is currently enjoying summer. I would hope it is warmer there. It gets up to 50F there during its summer. Being colder than antarctica in winter isn't that unusual.

Yes, it is, unless the digital thermometer on the door and the two freezer thermometers inside are lying to me. This isn't my actual freezer door, but it looks exactly like this.
That's why I bought it. If I need to, I can set it to blast chill down to -30F for 72 hours to more quickly freeze food if I'm putting a large amount of new food or something large into it.
I can drive nails with my Hot Pockets.
