Mine renews in Feb., so I won’t know until last minute. But my escrow fell into a huge negative bc of insurance year before last and my note went up $800. Just got letter it’s back down about $709 again thank God. Apparently I kept paying the overage during this year based on notice and they didn’t tell me so now I have a nice slush I’m holding in escrow for future insurance shenanigans.

Homeowners went from $1500 to $2500. I guess I should feel lucky. Property taxes only going up $30/month.

Where did he say he couldn’t afford it? Just because someone can afford something doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be upset if the cost goes up. Gas went up. I can afford it but I’d like it to go down. This is dumbass take.

Yea man because we totally know what is going to happen with the climate in the future and have never gotten it wrong

You’re right

I read the temperature changing makes male turtles be born as females and this is happening in Louisiana except it turns them into lawyers

100%. This person doesn’t understand what a mortgage is. You should never escrow anyway.

My property tax went down, insurance stayed the same but I had to pay a shortage this year so mines going down $100 or so once the shortage is paid.

My first house had a 13% interest rate, suck it up.

OK, gramps. Back when you worked at the factory and could support a stay at home wife with 4 kids.

Taxes went down a few hundred thanks to protesting…and Beryl

Insurance went up a few hundred.

I also send an extra $20ish per month to escrow to reduce the increase as much as possible.

I think I might get a couple hundred back in a “refund”.

I'll add my annual post to this thread that pisses everyone off.

I have USAA and believe it or not, they decreased my premiums AGAIN. I haven't had an increase in three years. I don't have an explanation for why because looking at the new dec page, I see nothing that would indicate less coverage in any way, and I'm an agent myself so I know what to look for.

Granted, the decrease this year was only about $50 but a decrease is a decrease.

Everyone knows what he is talking about, dipshit.

Also most of the time whether or not you can escrow is not a choice.

Every bank is different in what they will allow.

And for those with less than 20% equity, which is a lot of people, escrow required, not a choice. Thanks for admitting that.

We are a "free country" yet I pay taxes on my house that I own, my car that I own, and I can't own a fully auto rifle that was made after 1985. George Washington would be stacking bodies, yet the fat fricking useless assholes get free phones, internet, and even free regular lunches so their kids don't even understand how big of losers their parents are.
