I know man. I was on my way home today and saw two big wrecks. One was on my right and then spun out of control right next to Eureka in West Village and took like 6 cars with it. It was a frick fest.

I've never driven in snow or ice. Hell, today is the first time I've ever seen snow actually falling(seen it already on the ground) so this commute home is going to be fun!!!!

I moved here 2 years ago. Is snow that fricking rare that you could go your whole life without driving in it?

There was 0% chance of precip when I went to work this morning.

I know. It snowed for like 6 hours today. More proof that meteorologists have the most worthless job in America.

Took me an hour and a half to get from 360/Trinity area to my place in uptown. Left at 4:45pm and got home at 6:15pm. Slow moving with icy bridges and a couple of wrecks.

I used to commute from Wylie to Farmer's Branch, freaking nightmare.

That's a 50 minute commute in the best of circumstances. Why the hell didn't you move closer?

I grew up in south Louisiana 30 minutes from the gulf then moved to Orlando at 22 years old.

Then moved to McKinney a year ago, but there was no snowy days last year.

And I don't take vacations in the snow.

That'll do it.

Didn't want to take my kid out of his school district.

I rode the train downtown for years and loved it but got caught in the financial meltdown, only job I could find at the time was freaking Farmer's Branch.

Was killing me on tolls and gas too

A friend of mine spent 3 hours on 75 leaving downtown for richardson at 4. I work next door to my apartment so I walked home in 5 minutes.

Scott Padgett on CBS kept acting as though this little event was in the forecast...uh, maybe it was mentioned this morning before work (I didn't see it), but someone forgot to alert the weather apps. I heard a meteorologist on the radio a day or two ago saying we had a very low chance of getting anything.

Took my husband almost 3 hrs to go from Ft. Worth to uptown today.

The meterologists and local media were all acting like this was nothing. Yes, relatively speaking, nothing like 2013. However, there was a good bit of ice on the overpasses.

#nerdalert but I miss Larry Mowry who used to be on channel 11. He was the only meteorologist here that I liked. The rest suck arse. The media here is a joke as well. I guess just because we're a big market doesn't actually guarantee talent.
