Snow has pretty much stopped. Highways are slow. Regular roads are slick but as long as they decent tread they should be fine. Just don't slam on the breaks

Just got home from work (south Arlington to home in Southlake). 360 was a nightmare. 114 was okay. Roads are not in bad shape for the ones I went on.

My commute was maybe 5 minutes longer than usual, and didn't really see any ice.

Took NW Hwy to Inwood to Lemmon to uptown. No problems

I just got to town from South Louisiana. Started snowing on me on I20 in Forney.

Waze got me to where I'm now at by keeping off the interstate & main arteries once in the Metroplex. Easily saved me 45 min. Idiot drivers going 35 on US 80...

It said to assess the weather situation and choose an appropriate time to leave.

Then a follow-up email to let your supervisor know you were leaving.

They're still landing planes at Lovefield, but people can't drive home without wrecking

The roads in uptown were soaked earlier and since we've only warmed up to 24 today...all of that turned to ice. There was 0% chance of precip when I went to work this morning.

I've been running around Frisco all day. Only ice on streets is against curb where water settled. Tollway, otoh - be careful - especially in the "dips" and when you're exiting onto the feeder road. George Bush is usually the best east/west option.

I used to commute from Wylie to Farmer's Branch, freaking nightmare.

The last big storm (3-4 yrs ago) caused me to have a 3 hr commute to go 30 miles.

I'm now working in McKinney and it took me 30 minutes this afternoon.

This place goes ape shite when ice hits
