Sad but this is why American and Christian values are being replaced in this country at a pace that will be unrecoverable from shortly.

Look into Japan's current situation to see a glimpse of our future.

This is the one and only thing I blame on Boomers and Gen Xers (of which I am guilty of) failure to teach the importance of American Values and why losing them will be detrimental to this country's' success.

Look at this shite. Think about where we are as a society, and the current state of the medical industry. They will gladly provide a sex change, and abortion no questions asked. BUT, if a man wants a vasectomy, he has to search of a Doctor willing to do it. I did a consult a couple years ago for one. I am a 50yr old married man, and the doctor had the nerve to tell me that I had to have my wife sign off on it. That is some top shelf bullshite.

I’m not sure how you think I was running my mouth and don’t cheers me. There’s nothing happy about losing a 3 year old child.

don't go crazy and have a bunch of kids. Since WW2, like has been pretty easy for most, but It's about to get much harder within the next 25-50 years. You're doing your kids a disservice by brining them into the world.

This is a cop-out.

Which historical point would you say was the perfect time to have kids? Every generation has just gotten through something horrible or is dealing with some looming catastrophe.

Humans are meant to procreate. It'll make sense when you have a child of your own.

Don't base your decision on someone else's snot-nose kid. There isn't a vacation, a car, a video game, sleeping late, or whatever you do with your time that is as fulfilling as having children.

Because at least tube tying is not very reversible, so why encourage women to do something potentially permanent that they might regret later?

Some doctor can prob tell us better, but I think only one type isn’t reversible because the tubes are completely removed.

But you can still have ivf if your uteri is and ovaries are intact.

Which a lot of people have to go this route anyway.

quote:

Yes, in vitro fertilization (IVF) is possible after tubal ligation, also known as getting your tubes tied. IVF bypasses the blocked fallopian tubes that result from tubal ligation, allowing pregnancy to occur.

Some of you just need to accept that this isn't true for everyone.

Of course, it isn't, but I believe it's the right decision for many people who think they should not, and I acknowledge that it is a tough sell for those who do not want children.

If you're a piece of shite with no redeemable qualities, then I say sure, you've made the right decision, but mostly, I see people bragging about delaying adolescence.

I haven't read everything here.

That being said, when an older generation complains about the younger generation not doing things the "correct" way or making the "right" choices in life they forget one thing.

The older generations created the younger generations. Therefore, the generations that created the younger generation is at fault. They are the ones that didn't put in the work to mold a person that can have the mindset to make the right decisions and be successful in this society.

That's fine. People generally have that reaction to things they can't understand. It almost offends them that people don't have the same need or get the same fulfillment from children that they get from theirs.

Vasectomies and tube tie should be offered for free for anyone who wants it. Too many incompatible, unprepared people have kids they did not consciously produce. Left with kids in poverty, in broken homes, underfed and under-educated. And that could be prevented with a free vasectomy Change my mind

Well, labor from impoverished, broken homes is better than no labor at all. And unfortunately, we live within the construct of an extraordinarily large Ponzi scheme that unequivocally NEEDS new blood to pay for the old—and we coming up on a whole lotta old.

You are correct. The consumeristic mindset that corporations successfully tap into. All driven by the need for market expansion, aka capitalism.

To be fair "the free market" is the only way. But coporate greed and consumer capitalism knows no end. And here we are.
