Uptown, FQ, warehouse, Holly Grove, mid-city, treme', marigny, by water, 9th ward. Is that enough for starters?
There's not a single corner of that entire city I'd feel safe letting my wife and kids walk alone at any time of day.

Again laugh if you want but it's the truth. I have not been a victim and do not personally know anybody who has been a victim of crime in NOLA
Well in that case...NOLA is completely safe. You're right.

This is just a dumb statement and proof you know nothing about New Orleans...

Yeah the whole city is the French Quarter. Are you one of these people that thinks that New Orleans is still flooded from Katrina? Be honest.

Hate to break it to you wonton but lots of people feel that way. The crime stats don't lie.
Eta:
No, but I've havnt been to a part of town that didn't have homeless people or drug heads. Drunk tourists aren't the only ones who piss and throw up in public.

I'm sure a lot of people do feel that way. A lot of people also feel that evolution is a myth. Doesn't mean they're right.

Well you city folk keep living in denial while people are getting murdered and robbed all around you. I'll keep my Glock on me when I'm there just to make sure.

Hate to break it to you but you're ignorant of the reality of the City and likely influenced by the BR-types and the Napoleon Complex they have towards NOLA. As others have told you, I also somehow lived 39 years there never being a victim of or witnessing a violent crime. NOLA has it's faults' but don't be a dumb arse and you'd see how heavily skewed the stats are towards areas you have no business being. So yes, in many respects, the stats do lie and ignorance isn't necessarily an offensive word, it just means that many people are, well, ignorant, just like you...

We have lived here a few years... never had any real issues but it's time to move on. We certainly would never be in the qtr for bayou classic and the like....Anyone who is so dumb deserves what they get. I loved my time living here but i will not miss the day to day filth and idiots.

Nobody is in denial, but if your semi retarded arse thinks all neighborhoods are full of piss, puke, and thugs, it's probably not worth discussing any longer. LOL
So sad
So sad

Isn't this a normal Saturday night in NOLA?

"Let's not be fake here please. Bourbon is always full of trash, piss, and vomit regardless of the crowd."
And the reason is tourists. Can't handle the alcohol and think people's home in the FQ is a toilet. Next time I see a frat guy puke on the street or some hood rat bitch pissing on the floor I'm going to beat the shite out of them. Most of the trash that show their tits etc during MG is tourist trash.

Police Superintendent Michael Harrison said two men involved in the argument were not from the New Orleans area, and have not yet been arrested.
“We believe they ran into each other in the street and an argument ensued at that time that stemmed from an argument that they had already had from another place,” Harrison said.
Harrison added that five victims have been released from the hospital. Four others are still being treated, but Harrison did not provide an update on their conditions.
The victims range in age from 20-37 years old, authorities said. Two are from New Orleans, seven are from other areas of Louisiana and one victim is from Mississippi.

If they don't know who the shooters are, how do they know they're not from NOLA?
