Why yes, a black party marketed towards teenagers in the NOLA area going on until the wee hours.

Whatever on earth could go wrong.

ETA: should have been block but apparently autocorrect ain’t too far from the truth

Yet I guarantee somebody who was at that block party knows exactly who was responsible for the shooting, but they won't say anything because "snitches get stitches" and/or they plan to retaliate themselves.

I find it interesting that the local media hasn't asked for the police numbers in Orleans Parish. The New York Police Dept saw 5300 officers retire in 2020, a 75% increase from 2019

5. Give Holy Cross and the Lower 9 to St. Bernard

provide much needed population to St. Bernard to help them be able to afford basic government services
:roftlmao:

Then St Bernard will be responsible for providing government services to those areas. That area ain't exactly a lucrative tax base to add to St Bernard and its a lot of extra police patrols and services they'd be responsible for providing. Adding the lower 9th to St Bernard would be a huge net loss for St Bernard.

This is a serious problem with our urban centers, and it is something that BLM is in a unique position to address. But they will ignore it. Because apparently not all black lives matter enough to them to take action.

2 people dead out of 27 shot in these mass shootings. I don’t think emergency room doctors are getting enough credit.

I live in St Bernard. Your idea sucks and so do you. In no way does that do anything except burden St. Bernard parish. New Orleans can clean up their own mess.

I was told this was gonna be fixed when they started pulling down some statues that no one paid attention to.

New Orleans East should be turned back into a wetland so it could actually be an asset rather than a liability.

Few things:

Sometimes it has to get worse before it can get better.

Vote that shitty leadership OUT

Stop the Community from turning the other cheek from criminal activity.

A lot of these shootings are happening close to the interstate because it's the perfect spot for a drug deal.

Stop on the side of the road, with zero to minimal cameras. Shoot your victim before you take the drugs and money. Repeat

yeah but this was a block party. It wasnt like one dude meeting up with the other and getting killed like the motorcycle sale incident.

And Latoya won’t do or say dick about it. But she will show support for convicted thug Irvin Mayfield.

maybe, but no one cares about St. Bernard

It might make my house worth more if Arabi and Chalmette are absorbed into the city

Let St. Bernard be for the farmers and fishermen as was originally intended

This is about as big a pipe dream as they come. This crime is here to stay for a while. These people will never admit their plans have failed.
