This was my first weekend out this year due to working a turnaround for the last two months.

I dropped about $230 but bought some great stuff.

$1 each Crocs flip flops (not something I’d normally buy)

50¢ each - vintage pipe gauges

$25 Dewalt drill and grinder (all work)

$15 Daiwa fishing kit

$15 Yeti two 40 cooler

$30 Billy Cannon book

$5 Vera Bradley sunglasses

$30 D&D books

$50 Peavy guitar

$10 teak wood cats

$1 Klein tool bag (this will be my new Japan jump starter)

$5 some old books

Other things I bought but I haven’t taken photos yet
8 pair Ariat FR jeans $3 a pair
Magnavox dvd/vcr combo $5
Marucci bat $5
Leather purse $5
A couple more D&D games $6
24” Rigid aluminum pipe wrench $5
10 records $10

My best purchase will probably either the Yeti cooler (it has issues) or the D&D stuff.

My worst purchase is the Billy Cannon magazine.

Like I said, I have to start over on my quest to finance a trip to Japan, because I dropped all my earnings I made last year for my family trip to Vegas back in December.
I’m going to use the $1 Klein bag as my jump starter. It should sell for around $20.

Dude I noticed the old people on Jefferson near the Racetrack in prairieville were having a huge garage sale today. You were the first person I thought of.

I missed that one and I was in that area (I live in Dutchtown). Most of this stuff came from Longwood subdivision, about a mile from where you talking about.

ETA: didn’t read the thread.

Keep us updated on the Japan trip. I enjoyed that thoroughly

Did you go already or is this a new trip?

What ended up becoming of your Japan trip flipping adventure? I was digging keeping track of that.

I ended up spending my earnings from last year on a Vegas trip for my family. My oldest turned 21 and wanted to go there. I basically paid for the trip with my earnings last year.

I gotta start over.

I’m going to start a new thread. Like I said, the $1 Klein bag will be my starting point.

Would you be interested in fencing ... uh, I meaning marketing some pristine record albums from the 40s and 50s? Dean Martin, Andy Williams, Perry Como and earlier. Belong to an elderly relative. Split the take.

Those pit gauges are still used to this day. Not sure about how vintage they are.

The Yeti cooler for $15 was a deal

I didn’t know what they were, but for $1, I couldn’t pass them up. (I had an idea what they were, I’m not completely dumb). I looked them up when I got home, saw they sell for about $25 each

She was sitting right next to me when I opened the thread.

A few weeks ago I took her to a neighborhood garage sale and an estate sale - she had fun and got a few beanie babies/boos

I do this for a hobby, not a living. I don’t sell for other people, because I’m all about the hunt, not the sale.

Croc made good flip flops, I had some blue ones before my dog chewed em to pieces.

If you referring to what is probably my best purchase last year, when I bought the unopened LPS mall for $3, sold same day for $300, that was a great day. I had no idea they were worth that much. That’s why I do this.

I am referring to that

And am also curious. My 9 year old is a little shopper (very scary) and it can be stores, thrift stores, flea markets, garage sales - she doesn’t care.

She looks for beanie boos and littlest pet shops.
