I prefer a metal bed. Every now and then I get a load of garden soil or play sand from the nursery. My flat shovel would tear up a sprayed liner.

Have you never heard of a push broom?

Chevy's and GMC's have had it as an option for several years.

--- Team rubber bed mat.

I put that over the spray in. Keeps anything from sliding and it’s about $75 at Kirk’s. I also put the hooks in the top of the bed to tie small items. Easier to reach than the lower ones.

My spray liner is Ford Factory installed.

i really dont understand the need for a bed liner. I have a rubber mat and it works fine to keep stuff from sliding arond. And imdont mind if the ibed gets scratched.

I think my Tacoma has some kind of plastic liner.
The bed itself Is plastic a composite fiberglass like substance.

No it’s not. Ford contracts that out

Ask your husband, he would know.

What’s your main concern here? Environmental?

It just makes no sense to me to spend $73k on something unless I use it for what it's intended to be used for. Why pay for a truck bed that isn't used to haul stuff?

I get paying $73k for a nice car, but you can get a much nicer car for that money than you can a truck.

2019 GMC's have a composite bed. No need for a liner.

Spray in liners are grippy. Drop in liners are slick. Bare metal is right in the middle and a rubber bed mat can be used if you need grip.

Tacoma’s don’t have a plastic liner. The bed IS plastic.

It's carbon fiber and it's optional.

Are the ones that people said came with it dealer options or were they done at the factory?

Seems like it would add a decent amount of time for the factory to tape off the bed to spray in a Bed liner in an industry that is trying to go more and more to robots

Nice melt Martini. Go take 2 Midol and see me in the morning. You’re obviously having some serious hot flashes this evening.
