If you have or want to take Christmas stuff down that soon just stop putting it up. This is so stupid

Walmart was completely out of some Christmas items...I also walked down the toy aisles this year and some were stripped bare. Good luck if your kid got a gift card.
A Walmart gift card for Christmas.
That's just fricking sad.

I’ll take the outside decorations down Wednesday along with the inside decorations and Christmas tree

For some reason I remember hearing it’s bad luck to take down the tree before New Year’s Day. Not sure why though. Normally I wait for a decent afternoon early in January, pop some cold ones, and start taking them down.

I take all the inflatable stuff and lawn decor up day after. (About to start now). I'll leave the lights on the house and bushes and trees until after the first. Mainly because I really don't feel like getting the extension ladder out and taking the lights off the gutters.

How long do you keep your Christmas stuff up?
Until Jan 6 and then it’s time to decorate for Mardi Gras, like God intended

Taking them down right now. I put them up early, but when it's over it's over.

My big family did Christmas at our hunting camp yesterday morning/early afternoon. Everyone started to leave at around three, I stayed back, contemplating going hunting but just sat around and had a few drinks instead. At about 6 o’clock, I FaceTimed to my sister to see what they were doing at their house seeing if it would be cool to go spend the rest of the day over there. She said she was taking down her Christmas tree and going to put it in the burn pile

My mom has dementia. We are keeping her decorations up. Each day she will be happy thinking it’s Christmas. It’s the best gift we can give her.

Only terrorists take down their Christmas decorations before January 6th

They have to be down by the 1st.

I’m good with them staying up until 12th night or whatever. Basically, early January.
That said, Mrs. FCP started the take-down process around 2:30 PM CST yesterday (12/25). We’re on to Valentines Day over here.
