Date: Mar 25, 2020 – 06:23 p.m.

Italian officials say 683 people have died of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 7,503. The authorities also reported over 5,000 new cases, putting the total number of coronavirus patients in Italy to 74,386. Italy has had more coronavirus-related deaths than any other nation in the world.

Coronavirus Cases: 74,386
Deaths: 7,503
Recovered: 9,362
Active Cases: 57,521 – Currently Infected Patients
Closed Cases: 16,865 – Cases which had an outcome

Just to show the movement of new cases in the last seven days:

3/18 - 4207 new cases (-2350 from peak)
3/19 - 5322 new cases (-1235 from peak)
3/20 - 5986 new cases (-571 from peak)
3/21 - 6557 new cases (peak)
3/22 - 5560 new cases (-997 from peak)
3/23 - 4789 new cases (-1768 from peak)
3/24 - 5249 new cases (-1308 from peak)

I assume you mean the non tested/no symptoms folks.

Still, it's pretty bad when you can only show that a little over half of the tested cases have ended in recovery...

Less deaths and cases than yesterday. Hopefully Italy can begin to turn the corner on this thing. Slowly but surely.
