Such dishonesty does nothing for your "cause". This is just yet another person subtracting out the co-morbidities from the stats and reporting what's left. We've known this from the very beginning.
Just take the L. This virus isn’t as deadly as you want it to be. Be thankful instead of being a little count about it.

Of course it’s with
Especially with Italy’s geriatric population, there’s just too many comorbidities that in conjunction with Covid had resulted in these deaths

Not sure exactly.
ETA: Is the title now more to your liking? What would you like it to say?

If Trump wasn’t in office, we would have no restrictions. This was the democrats opportunity to blow this out of proportion and get him out of office. Otherwise he would have cruised to a second term

It is, however, just more evidence that healthy people never should have had restrictions put on them.
Regardless of your stance on restrictions, in the case of communicable diseases your statement does not follow.
Of course it follows.

Maybe China isn't lying.
Wouldn't that be some shite if/when its found out that the US planted this in China via Fauci to steal the election.

"According to the ISS, 65.8% of Italians who are no longer there after being infected with Covid were ill with arterial hypertension, that is, they had high blood pressure. 23.5% were also demented, 29.3% added some diabetes to their ailments, 24.8% also atrial fibrillation. And that's not all: 17.4% already had sick lungs, 16.3% had had cancer in the last 5 years; 15.7% suffered from heart failure,28% had ischemic heart disease, 24.8% suffered from atrial fibrillation, more than one in ten were also obese, more than one in ten had had a stroke, and still others, albeit in a smaller percentage, had serious problems liver, dialysis and autoimmune diseases."
Sounds like Louisiana. Glad y'all feel safe. I love how the folks on TD don't have underlying conditions. Simply amazing. What a laugh. Go to one LSU tailgating scene and that thought is out of the window.

Your title still implies that death totals due to covid were officially revised to subtract co-morbidities. As far as I can tell, that is not true. It appears that they simply updated the statistics for the last few months, and the author of the article you've linked took the liberty of subtracting out the co-morbs to spin the report like people have been doing for a long time. The author also makes the claim that covid killed fewer than the flu. Comparing covid deaths minus co-morbs to flu deaths which includes co-morbs is obviously bunk. But let's just roll with that narrative, right? Also high blood pressure was by far the biggest co-morb that was subtracted from the stats. Do you think it is at all honest to imply that all those people with both high blood pressure and covid actually died of the fricking high blood pressure? Laughable.

It's worse to admit we've known this from the beginning given all the bullshite that has happened. The world would be in so much better shape right now based on the low number you say is a lie, as opposed to the high number that is certainly a lie.
Good luck arguing that your lie is better than the other lie based on the above indisputable fact regarding current global conditions.

After 20 months if you can't see by now that not one restriction did a lick of good in slowing the spread and only harmed the economy, I can't help you.

There were 500,000+ excess (above estimates) deaths in the US in 2020, and the excess death by date chart lines up closely with the Covid spikes.
