I heard a rumor that they may rename Fort Rucker in Alabama, too.

This country is totally fricked. The only thing that can save it is an all out war within itself.

There are about 20 being renamed. Political bullshite.

There's a lot of things we can fix in America with the money that will be spent for these name changes.

Serious question - what on earth does the name change accomplish?

The welcome kit includes needles, fentanyl, and how to guides on printing fake currency and robbing pregnant women.

Erasing history so the Marxists can re-write it in their own image.

Damn. He was a badass.

I kind of like having facilities named after a private too.

violent crime in Louisiana and across the nation will now drastically decrease because we’ve finally addressed these racial injustices.

We don’t name forts or streets after Tokyo Rose or Benedict Arnold, but we still learn about them in history. They won’t be forgotten; they just won’t be honored.

It very puzzling to me why the Fox News crowd immediately rushed to take Derek Chauvin's side, this wasn't the Travon Martin case where it wasn't clear what happened. It was clearly murder

It's a tenant of marxism. As one said, erase history and recreate it to suite the leftist lies.

Leftists/Democrats/Liberals are pathetic slugs of humanity. Their miserable little lives will always be empty. Take solace in the fact that you will ALWAYS be happier and more content than any leftist ghoul.

You literally have no idea who Fort Polk or any of these other bases are named after. You are told to REEEEEE at the mention of these names, and because you are a good little slave, REEEEEEE you must.

Now shut up, and do what your told.

Yes, ingesting a lethal dose of fentanyl is a form of murder, that George Floyd committed on himself, if that's how you want to phrase it.

Ignorant dumbass.

Floyd died because he swallowed his stash like other junkies who want to avoid prison, but that isn't the point.

George Floyd was a worthless piece of shite and the world is a better place without him. He was a felon whose career highlight was robbing a pregnant woman by holding a gun to her stomach because the worthless junkie needed his next fix.

Y'all treated this piece of shite like a hero to be worshipped with the state funerals. Y'all used a career felon as an excuse to defund the police (the real reason of course being that it would be easier to commit crimes and not get caught in the act with a reduced force) and burn/loot people's businesses and ruin their livelihoods. Floyd was a piece of shite and so is anyone who supports him.

How about we talk about Polk. Not only was a terrible military commander, he was also consistently insubordinate. He only was made a Major-General because of his family's wealth and influence in the South. Maybe we shouldn't have terrible military leaders named on a major U. S. military base.
