Eh, it was during the ice storm. In all seriousness, you had a lot on your plate so I can sympathize.

Holy crap! I was wondering how long this would take. Patronizing to the fraction of a percent of people who CLAIM they are offended. This country is a joke.

Why not say it was named after President James Polk? That’s who I thought it was named after anyway.

This erase confederate history bullshite has gone too far. Does anyone really think this will make blacks stop killing each other or living off the government and committing a huge percentage of violent crimes for their population? If there is one I don’t care about it’s Braxton Bragg as he was probably the worst general in the confederacy but trying to erase guys like Lee, JEB Stuart, Stonewall, etc is just insane. Is this really what’s important in our society today?

As someone who’s been to Fort Polk I think it should be renamed “Fort Unrelenting Living Hell” or “Fort Literal Hemorrhoid on the a-hole of the Earth” to better prepare those who have the misfortune to be find themselves there.

If they really cared about exposing how much old white men sucked they’d keep the name. Ft. Polk is worse than Fallujah.
