It hit me yesterday that it’s December and we’re still like this. Is there an end?

I was hoping this would not be the case, but it is now December, and lockdowns are still a thing, bars are still shut down, capacity is limited at restaurants and sports venues, kids not at school where they belong for structure, etc. I obviously don’t agree at all with the governmental control and the evaporation of our freedoms, but the problem is I don’t see an end to this. If covid is like smallpox, 1-2 vaccines may be enough, but if it’s like the flu, we will be guessing on strains for annual vaccines.

I’m not usually affected much by shorter days, etc, but the seasonal affective disorder has gotten me more than before this year. A lot of things I love like football don’t appeal to me right now.

When do y’all see a return to normalcy, if ever? In my opinion the goal should always be to back to how life was pre covid, but I have a feeling that may not happen

If government tries to force us to be like this for much longer, more and more people are going to ignore it all and go about their daily lives. That's when government will overstep its boundaries even more and THAT, my friend, is when the new revolution will begin. People aren't going to just accept this long-term .

They tried to tell us early on, yes there was the “it’s only for 2 weeks” lie, but what was also pushed from the very beginning? “New normal”, and that really says it all, many want things to stay how they are now essentially forever or at the very least have us never go back to the “old normal”

If football doesn't appeal to you now, than you don't actually love it.

People are fat and lazy and will watch Tiger King

Short of major economic upheaval, nothing will happen.

People are fools. The Politicians who enforced these are the same ones being seen dining out in gatherings. As long as people continue to comply, you get what you voted for. Rules for thee but not for me

Yes. After Small business is dead and large corporations that line democratic pockets all become monopolies

Yep, get used to Least Common Denominator and Race to the Bottom under the new Socialist (Communist) Agenda. All are equal, in poverty.

Can I get another plate of them Red Clay and Dirt? Beans and rice are only for export to Chyna soon.

If you want to go back to the old way the only way to get there is trough an armed revolution in this country

Government of any kind never gives up the power they have obtained through Covid without being forced to

The holidays are hard for a lot of people, now with not being able to see loved ones & being able to provide a normal Christmas for kids due to loss of income I worry that more people will take their own lives, especially if they continue to push telemedicine visits & make it so difficult to get help.
