Nah, just wrangle up some cow pox, watch a few seasons of Gray's Anatomy, and walk it off like a champ.

But everybody said don't worry. This is a false alarm like all the others....

Glad those folk don't work in hospitals.

I'm fully expecting to go outside my office and expect a zombie-apocalypse type disaster

ah that's right it's like the zombie rules from South Park, just kill the person who started it and everybody else will be cured

If you dive in unprotected, Brad Pitt is there to sever your pecker.

What purpose would that serve? He's zero threat to anyone locked in a competent isolation ward.

In response to a question, Frieden added that "a handful" of people, including family members, may have been exposed to the patient prior to his seeking treatment.

I'm sorry, but if someone from my family just returned from Liberia there is no way in hell I go near them for a good 30 days or so.

Sorry if already answered.

Is this even a big threat in the first world countries like the US? Or are they worried it will go airborn?

No.

I walked into my dry cleaners this evening and an old dude was picking up his starched shirts and he and the dumbass behind the counter were finishing up their in depth discussion about this deal as CNN is on the tv near them.
He said that he knew when we let these people come to Atlanta for the treatment that it was a matter of time before it spread.

Then as the lady is helping me she starts a new discussion with me asking if I had heard that this "evola" was here? She was concerned for everyone on the plane that the person was on when he came here.
I couldn't even build up the interest to talk to her about it. Just shook my head and said that it was not looking good.

So if a hurricane originates in West Africa and comes up the mouth of the river, will all of Plaquemines Parish be infected with the E?

Just curious.
