Very disingenuous. Was that deliberate or just poorly written?
Probably the former.

Still occasional rocket out of Gaza. Looks like they are lobbing the homemade ones and saving the Iranian supplied ones because their accuracy, which was never good, has dropped off significantly. Some are landing in the Med.

Others are landing in hospital parking lots.

OK. That sentence is also the least relevant to the point being made. Reminder: The VP and President are first and foremost politicians who will always engage in self puffery.

The entirety of that speech was very good, and was a worthwhile word of caution spoken directly to Israelis.

A similar message was probably prepared for the Arab world. But Arab world leaders walked away from that meeting over a false narrative so some things never change.

All the speech did was kiss everyone's arse. As long as middle east war continues, everyone in charge is happy. Been this way since I was born, and I am an old fricker.

It's relevant in the sense he's obviously counting his time as VP as making "wartime decisions". It's another lie in a long string, over decades, that imbecile has uttered. At least he didn't plagiarize the speech.

Oh, and he followed up that speech with his announcement of giving the enemy of an ally in a declared war, who holds Americans as hostages, and has killed multiple Americans (within the last 12 days I'll add) $100 mmUSD. I don't care what came before it, but that alone makes him and his speech shite.

Trump agreed to end the war.

He didn’t agree to abandon Bagram, leave tons of military equipment, or abandon people who helped us knowing it was a death sentence.

Biden did all of that.

and multiple DoD, military & civilian, resigned AND wrote self-serving tell-all books over his decision to start the process, which aborted the decision. Including Mattis, which was very disappointing.

When Biden comes in nary a peep over the decision OR execution AND defended abandoning Bagram which made ZERO military sense. ZERO. But no Pentagon playa spoke up.

So, it seems like the Israeli bombing has stopped? I haven't heard of any significant bombing in the last 24 hours except the Pals bombing themselves.
Not according to this site (linked on first page of this thread):

https://www.timesofisrael.com/

Looks like barrages of rockets are coming from Gaza and Lebanon at the same time...we just aren't seeing it on the live feeds...

The ones in East Jerusalem and a few other areas who were offered (and accepted) Israeli citizenship are, but Palestinians living in the West Bank/Gaza generally have a PA passport or one from another country such as Jordan, the US, etc.

If they do not have a passport from the PA they are still technically refugees?

I'd like to hear her break-down of this conflict like she did for the Russian/Ukraine war. You know, so my cat can understand what is going on.

Agree that won't work. The Palestinians would out-breed the Jews so damn quick that in a couple of generations we would have Holocaust II: Electric Boogaloo

Other than the bullshite about being a war time president, his speech is pretty spot on….

I think he was referring to being the only US president to visit Israel while the Israelis had formally declared war.

Which I found that hard to believe, but apparently it is. So, good on him, I guess. It's about the first thing I can think of that I've liked regarding his foreign policy thus far.

Well, to be fair, Israeli wars usually last about 6 days.
