Well no one has said that's exactly when they'll start rolling in. I'm just telling you what I've read.

I think they'll pick up the air campaign before ground troops go in. Might be hours, a day, or days of bombing.

Probably the exact opposite. The IDF has some of the most sophisticated night vision capabilities on the planet.

Maybe some of these boys want to see the whites of the eyeballs of the savages that thought they could get away with this

My understanding is they want no part of them bc they don’t want to deal with Hamas bs. Same as everyone else around them.

Actually Arafat tried to overthrow the King and ever since they have been persona non grata.

Yeah you would think Israel wants to maximize daylight, esp considering Gaza has no power.

Ummm unless they are back arse like the Russians they would have a huge advantage fighting at night.

Absolutely.

Israel still gives half a shite what the boys from Geneva set up way back when. The UN has already notified them they're violating the Geneva Convention with the siege.

It's checking a box in the dirty world of war fighting, but it keeps their nose clean when they turn city blocks into glass.

History is written by the victor. And they know they'll be the victor against Palestine, regardless of what pops off in response to this. So their narrative will remain truthful when history is written as "we told you to leave, and anyone who is there when we get there will be treated as a combatant".

I don't think that's an inaccurate narrative either, but I think anyone who has been through war will tell you that civilian casualties are inevitable. Hamas will cry war crimes ironically, so that covers their arse.

Looks like some softening up blows coming through. Prayers with the IDF tomorrow.

I hope Hezbollah doesn’t launch a huge attack right after they are fully committed

Pretty simple honestly...Plausible deniability.. Palestinian civilians are gonna die.. the IDF gotta do a little CYA before going in . Because for one the Palestinians already knew they IDF was coming in to begin with..

They have a huge advantage either way. Daylight hours would afford them a quick recovery if certain elements fail and minimize civilian casualties.

As a former Infantry officer, I can guarandamntee ain't no grunt on the face of the earth going to give away an combat advantage. War isn't a handicap sport, all strokes count.

As an aside, I wonder how many of the Camero-Tech through wall imaging systems the IDF has available for use. They bought into the tech last year. Excellent for hostage rescue and general MOUT ops.

YT video explaining how you can see through walls.

There’s that, but last time Jordan tried to help them out, the PLO tried to assassinate King Hussein.

They just aren’t good people.

I don’t know. That thing looks pretty cumbersome and best for a static environment like hostage rescue. For MOUT give me a FLIR and a 25mm Bushmaster. You can see heat signatures through cinder block if they are against it.

Correct me if I am wrong but prior to 1967 Jews did not rule Gaza except for when rule was given to Herod by the Romans until it was Christianized a period of 300 years or so out of 4 millennia.

And people wonder why no Muslim country will take the Palis...

They'd attempt the same thing in any country that took them in.
