The Jews have been in Canaan/Palestine/Israel longer than the Iroquois were in New York. They belong there.
I mean it's only by about 2500 years lol.

You are forgetting the Palestinian George Washington (Mufti of Jerusalem) was an rabid antisemite that tried to form an alliance with Hitler.

Why would it be a different conversation?
The United Kingdom is not a country of the original inhabitants. That island has seen waves after wave of people come in and out of power.
Mexico isn’t a nation of the original inhabitants. The Aztecs weren’t indigenous to the Central Valley of Mexico. They arrived there as wanderers and took over.
People come, people go. The border between france and Germany is where it is today because of how wars and conflicts and waves of migration have resolved. And the international community has accepted that resolution.
The international community created Israel and it has defended itself against invasion. It is a nation of many different people, languages and ethnic groups. Like all other nations.
Nothing is static, and no one is entitled to anything. What matters is do you want to build stability or chaos. Israel is a nation building state at this moment in time and Hamas is no
My comment was in regards to someone claiming the folks living there had been there for 3000 years, when in reality it's been less than 100.
Like I said, I don't dispute the right for Israel to exist, but that's more by force than by religious birthright or divine intervention. Israel has as much a right to exist as its neighbors do.

Fair enough.

To be clear the only difference between the Jordanians and the Palestinians is that the Jordanians got their own state and the Palestinians never did.
If that’s the only difference, Jordan should welcome them as they would have no problem assimilating into their country. Since there is no difference.
You seem to have a very narrow and short sighted understanding of the history and culture of the ME. Why aren’t you out protesting?

My understanding is they want no part of them bc they don’t want to deal with Hamas bs. Same as everyone else around them.

Yeah you would think Israel wants to maximize daylight, esp considering Gaza has no power.

Everywhere they've gone they've instigated a coup attempt. I realize they are a troubled refugee people, but damn if they just accept that they've lost and agree to that Israel exists, they can have a country of their own.
They've lost and they won't accept it.

The Israelis told Hamas and Doctors Without Borders to have the hospital evacuated by 6:00am local time; about 10:00pm our time, so in just a little over an hour from now.
Apparently, 6:30am local time will mark exactly one week since the start of the attack by Hamas.

But would they telegraph their next play like that?

Probably the exact opposite. The IDF has some of the most sophisticated night vision capabilities on the planet. They have an exploitable advantage in the dark.
