Earlier in the day, some of the population began to evacuate south. The Hamas faithful though are staying put. Then later in the afternoon, IDF told Doctors without Borders and the hospital staff of the Gaza City Hospital to evacuate within two hours. Eventually, Israel extended out the time frame.

Most of the evening has been targeted strikes near the waterfront, but there has been some IDF unit movement with tanks late this evening into the strip. Also, Israel has managed to recover several hostage bodies from Gaza territory after fighting had taken place.

Saturday (their time) Israel says it will double up on the frequency of bombing. There is a designated safe route civilians can take to leave to head south.

Israel Naval assets are also in the area shelling some targets as well and Hezbollah has been sending UAV's into Northern Israel all evening that are getting shot down.

USA is trying to work with Egypt to allow evacuation in thru the borders for civilians. Basically Egypt wants payment to consider it.

That's about it. Booms throughout the night and Israel starting the first series of pushes into Gaza are pretty much the story.
