Remember when a few liberal white women left America and joined the Muslim brotherhood and were immediately raped and treated like servants and begged America to save them?
That was good times

Anyone can explain 1) “typical” liberal and 2) Hollywood Lib supporting Hamas despite the Jewish influence over both groups, especially the latter?
I think if you lean left or generally understand the world from a liberal point of view, everything is top down oriented - both good and bad outcomes.
So when an individual does something awful, the instinct of the left is to start looking up to find the explanation. Applied here, you start looking up at the power structures in Gaza and Israel to find an explanation, and see systems in place that leave people in Gaza with few alternatives to extremism.
And I don’t think it’s entirely wrong to do that exercise, but there is just a general blind spot on the left in accepting that individuals can be fundamentally selfish and/or evil, or that local culture can be the driving problem, and some cultural behavior is more conducive to social living than others.
I believe that is why the left is just generally more paternalistic and less focused on individual accountability.
Also - I would quibble with saying there is strong jewish influence over the left generally but that’s a topic for another post.

I just have the feed muted and up on one of my other monitors and glance over at it to see what may have changed.
The only thing I use Microsoft Edge for is the picture-in-picture feature with YouTube so that I can make the video small and stick it in a corner. That was it stays on top out of the way while I'm working with Excel or something else but if something happens, I can see it out of the corner of my eye and quickly see.

Apparently France’s government has outlawed pro-Palestinian protests.

Them doing it is somewhat shocking to me given the large Muslim population there and how rowdy they have been the past 20+ years.

It's an efficient way to build a target list.

How much longer will the live feed cameras be up and any images or video coming out of the Gaza strip? Last night their power ran out. For Israel's sake it would be beneficial so that Hamas can't use it as propaganda while they hide behind "civilians."

And push their dumbassery underground?
I’d rather the shite fricks parade their idiocy out and about for all to see.

I’m sure veterans of the Katrina live blogging could answer.
My guess is that power for the camera isn’t as much an issue as the internet infrastructure being online for it to transmit.

This. People have the right to protest their shite opinions.
We have a right to publicize the names and pictures of the terrorist sympathizers

Israel needs to do whatever it takes to knock out their internet. The need to totally get rid of any potential propaganda the terrorists can use.

Having shut off the power and blown a number of generators, I would think that there should only be so long that cellular towers and hardwired stuff could be online.
Eventually power’s going to go out until they either refill generators or switch batteries.

It is interesting to see the random one window with light randomly throughout the city

If I were them, I’d shut it off or find blackout curtains.
At a point, if you still have power then either people on the ground will want your shite or Israel will lob something through the window.
