Earlier i also read how in one village on Saturday they must have gotten a phone from a victim and then used the WhatsApp group chat for the village to message others that it was over and IDF was now there. They then murdered anyone that fell for it and came out of their safe rooms.

It's collective punishment, but they'll hit targets if they have them.
Hamas has a large network of tunnels and bunkers in Gaza, and they'll be able to ride out the bombing with limited casualties. To really hurt them, Israel will have to send in the IDF.

That is as much a curse as a blessing. The IDF can't handle the logistics of hundreds of thousands of new soldiers even in the short term. They are probably being strained to the max bringing in the 300k+ reservists. The influx may be useful to replace some of the reservists called up in the civilian sector because a nation of 9 million's economy will take a big blow when 1/3rd of a million workers are pulled from their jobs.
