My neighbors are Muslim, super nice people. I even play catch and soccer with the kids from time to time. Pretty sure they don't want to blow me up or chop my head off.

I'm not saying all Muslims support ISIS, but I think it would be safe to assume that someone in Britain used to live next door to the beheader in the video and was probably "pretty sure" that he didn't want to chop anyone's head off.

can you expound on this? what have you experienced that leaves no doubt in your mind?
Link, no offense, but what does this have to do with killing all/every 10,000 Muslim terrorists known as ISIS?

If you're Christian and don't question the bible, follow it unequivocally, you're just reinforcing that Christianity is really just about a master-slave relationship. Which it is.

I don't mean to sound condescending at all, but 10 years ago I used that same argument against Christians.

There is hope yet, bro

I would like to rescind my earlier comments on mr foley. Seems like a good guy from what I can tell, even if I don't agree with reading the script given to him

I don't know how you can't agree with this...My mother hates that my brother believes most of the things he reads in Scientific journals...She tells him not to believe everything he reads...She then bible thumps him with scripture...

Count, no offense, but this thread has been off track for about 15 pages now, and that was my first post in it. I've kept my thread hijacking opinions to myself, but I genuinely wanted to hear that one part of one of these guy's posts. Sue me.

What a fricking abomination of a thread this has been from page 1.

What's funniest to me is posters thinking they know how they'd react in Foley's situation. Same shite on the OT.

I'll never denounce what I believe, under any circumstances.

What's outrageous about that claim?

Because you don't know for sure. You would like to believe that you wouldn't break, but you don't know.

I haven't read anything you've posted, and Foley didn't denounce Christianity anyway.

I was referring, mainly, to Darth saying he wouldn't read what they said. And also to the fact that this thread has been full of nothing but people berating each other.

You know for a fact even if you have been tortured for 2 years and a guy with a machete is standing in front of you?

And how do you have a clue what I've lived through?

I've killed. Stolen, been jailed, fought.

All in Iraq.

Thank God I'm forgiven and changed.

I have no clue what you've been through. Never claimed otherwise. But to say with 100% confidence that you know what you would do in the same circumstance is ignorant. I don't really understand how it's even debatable.
