This guy was kidnapped TWICE.
When does "brave" become "stupid"?

He only anticipates what he would/wouldnt do. He's just saying what he believes Jesus wants to hear to feel good.
No one knows what they would/wouldnt do besides die when a guy is standing next to them with a blade about to saw through their neck.

Murder. I was far from God-fearing at the time.
Cool thing is, God takes the worst of us sometimes and changes us into his children.

Ok then.....damn. Im not trying to be a dick by asking this but isn't murder a mortal sin that cannot be forgiven? I thought you are doomed to hell after murder?

No offense taken.
No. There is only one unforgivable sin, according to Jesus. That is to blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
That probably sounds archaic, so I'll try to explain.
The Spirit doesn't defend itself. It doesn't speak. It just reaches out and does stuff.
If you attribute the work of the Holy Spirit to demons or the enemy, it is unforgivable.
So don't do it
Not to downplay my sins, of which I am still guilty daily, but except for that one, all sins are equal to God. Equal and forgivable.

I had to put it up when you were being pretentious the other day and saying new people only had 5 minutes to impress you!

So fappin = murder on the forgivable scale? Say whaaaaaa
Then how come a priest would give a fapper like 10 our fathers, but a murderer like 10,000? (this is partially a serious question and partially I wanted to type fapper)

In Gods eyes, sin is sin, period.

You would need to talk to a catholic about their religion.
I'm christian and honestly can't answer you.

Yeh, Im having trouble wrapping my head around the fact that someone who commits murder is all good as long as he "finds God", but the little Hindu over there in India who never committed a major crime and has helped countless people through multiple charities and foundations is going to enjoy eternal damnation in the pits of hell. Seems a little, what should I say, unfair?

Every person can be saved, but no one can fathom what God is thinking. You cannot guarantee a person's salvation. So, your problem is with something no one could possibly know for sure. To pretend to know the will of God is, according to St. Augustine, blasphemous. Of course, St. Augustine wasn't exactly a sunshine pumper.

Just know that the Lord is waiting in case you ever head his way, no matter how rough your past.
