I wonder if the dad supported her previous decisions and actions while being involved with ISIS or he condemned her actions prior to wanting to return home.

If he supported her actions, then he should be shown the door also.

She couldn't commit treason because, according to the Obama Administration, in 2016, she was stripped of her passport and notified that due to her father's status as a diplomat, she was not under the jurisdiction of the U.S., and therefore NOT a citizen.

So it's not Trump pulling her citizenship.

Obama already did.

Can you point to any relevant law pre civil war that said secession is illegal or treasonous?

Also, through the act of secession, the south became its own country. In order to be treasonous to your country, you must be a citizen of said country. Since the south seceded and formed its own country, one cannot claim that the south was treasonous against the north.

Now, had the civil war occurred 10 years later, post Texas v white (1869) then you could claim that secession was illegal, thus the civil war was treasonous on the part of the southerners. But that isn’t the case.

All in all, your cute gotcha attempt just doesn’t pass muster. I’m sorry.

You're focusing on the wrong part. He's denying that the south was punished and that the reconstruction era occurred.

One could argue that losing a war was the punishment. And reconstruction wasn’t some blissful all is well period either.

That's my point.

He said "worked for the Confederates" implying there was no retribution or consequence for their actions.

Muthana currently is living at a refugee camp in northeast Syria and she "is willing to pay whatever debts she has to society” – even if it means serving a lengthy prison sentence, her family's lawyer told Fox News on Thursday.

No one wants to pay for her prison sentence. She can stay put.

But Zuhdi Jasser, the Founder and President of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy -- a group that describes itself as a “Muslim-led organization working on the front lines for reform at all levels of the Muslim community” -- told Fox News yesterday the government shouldn’t even bother with Muthana.

“She became, not only a terrorist, she became an enemy of our country and if she did believe in the citizenship oath…she abandoned it and actually violated it and became an enemy combatant,” he said on "America’s Newsroom."

It’s sad that all you require for yourself is a glib platitude. You just compared the absolute complicated and painful necessity of National Reconciliation after a Civil War to a stupid Islamist bitch that went abroad to sexually service Islamists who were throwing gays off buildings , beheading children and burning people in cages. Jesus, man - you have to do better than that.

This is a ploy by ISIS to get an active member admitted into the country by taking advantage of the Anti Trump Movement. Some spineless politician is going to get behind this.

I know family is family and they will do whatever they can for their loved ones, but frick that.

Yes, I know people make mistakes, but this bitch left the US to join ISIS in Syria, urged attacks on the west.. ISIS gets pushed out of Syria, she has no where else to go so now she is suddenly sorry for her actions.

If anyone can't see why allowing her back into the country would be a security threat then they are idiots.

She should have thought about this before she decided to betray her country. This is a true example of "you made your own bed now lay in it".

This is not going to end well for them.

1. Rejection of citizenship because her parents were on diplomatic visas

2. Rejection of birthright citizenship in general

3. If she gets back in, she is going to federal prison for decades
