Im out in Jay and it was horrible. Pines are down everywhere, so are power lines, the roads are filled with trees. Ive got a long day ahead of me.

Everything I am seeing shows that the whole area took an arse whoopin'. Not being close to the eye, but still getting a tree on your house, is still devastating. GLTA in the area.

This was less exciting in middle Alabama than the usual thunderstorms

Have a good friend just north of Jay and he texted at 10:30 last night and said North Santa Rosa County is really bad.

My son, 10, and his mom rode out the storm in Destin, where they live. He called me crying last night at about 9pm. I talked him down for about 45 minutes.

Gave him the "this is when you become a man" speech. I'll never forget it and I hope he doesn't either. We were laughing at the end of the conversation and talking about all the fish we caught just a few weeks ago and getting his first deer in January of this year.

Update at 1am this morning they are safe.

Am I reading the tracking maps correctly in that Isaias is still technically south of Montgomery moving northward?

Seems like all the rain is well north of the center.

That little guy has quite an early hurricane history. Riding out Isaias in Destin and fricking hurricane Sally with me in Fairhope.

Anyone else watching Fox? They just had a guy in downtown mobile. They found every down limb and made a fake scene behind the reporter. It was so obvious lulz

I live in Watersound Origins on the east end. I haven’t ventured out too far but our neighborhood seems fine. My buddies in Grayton seem to have gotten it worse. One had a couple outdoor fans ripped off his porch ceiling.

Checking in from the panhandle in Niceville. No power, generator failed after a couple hours. Cellular service down. I drove into the hospital this morning to work. Probably 10 trees down on my street alone. Luckily some Good Samaritan had already been through cutting trees and pulling them off the roadway.

Hopefully no injuries and everyone come out safe. I worry about falling trees though.

I think we will be setting up in Milton Fl.

Planning on leaving Tuscaloosa tomorrow morning.

First meal tomorrow evening, usually spaghetti.

I drove to work at 6 am in Baldwin county, Daphne/Fairhope. Normal commute. No limbs down, power, hell, the roads were dry because it’s still breezy.

It just needs sustained winds at 111 in one place.

They had one named after a Greek letter make landfall in Bay St. Louis. It was officially a 3. It's so forgettable I'm not even sure of the name. Had one small section of fence tip over.

Looking back in this thread a few pages, it seems the Jay area did indeed take the worst of it. Good luck out there, Man.
