I have an opened my laptop since December 20 and I’ve already spent 30 minutes on the phone with IT resetting all my passwords that I forgotten or have expired, lol

The trick that no one ever does is to save your PTO at the end of the year and use it during the year.

95% of the company will be taking off the last two weeks of the year and you can Just work and not do shite

Office is full swing, but I'm in transportation and the wife is at the hospital, so we don't know what it's like to be off for extended time.

Been off since the 19th.

Still off today because the kids are out of school and my wife is in Florida.

Not looking forward to work, but I’m kinda craving getting my routine back.

Between the flu, the holidays, and my wife being gone since last Wednesday, these 2 weeks felt like a year.

It's the first day of king cake season. Go to the break room and get you a piece of that New Year resolution nemesis.

What kind of archaic company do you work for?

For many people, they’ve been off since roughly Dec. 20th. They probably got the blues last night.

The week before Christmas through New Years is the best time to be at work. You have much of the place to yourself and can get stuff done without people popping up in your office.

I love this argument against teachers - my wife has been off two straight weeks and my cousin has been off 2 straight weeks - holidays and take some of their 4 weeks paid vacation time. Like no one but teachers have off time - OT ballers also talking about playing golf or hunting for 2/3 weeks while they’re off. LOL

Sounds like a skill issue, hahahaha nobody care's how "hard" it makes you seem to work like a slave.....

Eh. I've been off since the 19th, but I don't mind being back. I WFH on Mondays, and it is fairly smooth work wise. I'm moving into my slower time of year, so there's work going on, but nothing wildly drowning.

Plus, we have MLK and Mardi Gras just around the corner.

It is, which is why I took it off this year. Still doing some either out of habit, necessity, or force, but it still feels better than usual.
