Is this really global warming?

So now they are saying the Himalayas are heating up because they are finding bodies of climbers that died only 75 and less years ago. Wouldn't that mean that it actually got colder after these people died and is only now back to where it was 75 years ago?

Technically yes it would be global warming as the globe warmed.
However you also must forget about the global cooling that occurred in order for the global warming to get us back where we were so we could find the bodies. That was actually global warming too. Everything had to cool so that it could warm properly. Shut up and give us your money.

No, it means they died where they fell and were covered by years of snow and ice. That snow and ice didn’t happen because it got “colder,” they happened because it was already high and cold af in the Himalayas.
Now it’s still high af but not quite as cold, therefore the layers of snow and ice are melting so much that people can find bodies buried for years.

Does the small amount of claimed change in temperature translate into that much change up there, the difference between freezing and snowing to melting??

High altitude glaciers depend on more snow falling than melting. Glaciers can retreat due to either warming or decreased precipitation.
