Is this really a racial issue or just militarization of police

I have brought this up for years, I am not doubting that some cops are racist or the system has some significant racial bias inbreed into the system, but I don’t think it just some big racial issue. Unfortunately, because they are over represented in poor areas, and in the criminal justice system, I suspect that black people are just getting the blunt.end of the continued militarization of our police force. Our police current have more tanks and armored cars than many countries, and too many of them seem to have been taught to shoot first question later. They are made to do too many things and things they are not properly trained for.

Not sure what the solution is but less money doesn’t really seem to be likely to help the problem to me.

It’s much more the militarization of police due to the war on crack cocaine and weed

It’s the proggie media using what they can to manipulate people.

It’s not about so and so “lives mattering”.

It’s a distraction to keep blacks angry at police and whitey.

It’s easier to blame others for failed communities instead of realizing black culture is why a lot of blacks live shitty lives

The problems are numerous; too many to list.

I would have agreed with you two weeks ago, I would have wrong. But I realize the Left doesn't want to defund the police, they want to be the police. So the less weapons they have, the less we will have oppressing us.

You know that the CIA was heavily involved in trafficking of crack cocaine right? Great irony huh? There is great representation of that in the NARCO Mexico series and a more than a few movies about this.

They needed money to fund freedom fighters then got addicted to having their own black box funding

The left wants to rule because they are smarter than you and know better than you

The right wants to rule because they are richer and this smarter than you and know better than you.

If you think there is a nickel difference tell me what it is.

The real super elite are a just as likely a bunch of devil worshippering pedofile freaks as anything else, but everyone wants to focus on whether they are liberal or conservative. Let me fill you in, they are both

We have evolved into a militarized police state. Black people are not the only ones being treated like the enemy.

Yeah. No shite. But why is there a huge outcry every four years? Between those four years where was all of this hootin and hollerin?

Certainly that militarized state was still doing work, no?

It’s not an issue with police, it’s an issue with accountability.

Police are bad
Credit is bad
Anyone who doesn’t support abortions/government entitlement programs are bad

neither, the bigger issue is an accountability issue with one community.

It’s both I think. Too militarized and harass too many people in general and it’s amplified toward blacks. And you can’t really deny blacks in general have gotten the short end of the straw throughout this country’s history. At some point though they need to look in the mirror as a group and see what they can fix on their own and not blame the white devil for all their problems. Unfortunately with the 2 party system you have to chose your side and dig in, compromise is not allowed.
