Is There Any Industry Or Line Of Work You Assume Most People In It Are Corrupt?

For me the most obvious is politicians. I assume that for the most part, even the ones who enter for the first time with good intentions, they will eventually get involved in something that would be considered corrupt.
I know people will say lawyers and while there are those out there that would be considered corrupt, I do think there are lawyers who do what they do to help people. They want to be able to challenge those who do take advantage of the legal system.
What about contractors?

Lawyers - the "crooked" jokes have to come from somewhere.

People will say attorneys because when they think attorneys they think criminal defense and personal injury lawyers. And while I don't know that I'd call them corrupt, they certainly tend to change their worldview to adapt to the moral/truthfulness questions they have to confront.
But I deal with lawyers all the time, mostly commercial litigators and corporate attorneys, and very few give me any vibe of corruption or even unethical behavior. Assholes, sure, but not particularly unethical. Honestly, even bigger-matter insurance defense attorneys don't strike me as particularly sketchy.

Trial attorneys
the term "Trial lawyer" is WAY to dignified. I prefer what Rispone calls them. BILLBOARD Lawyers. It demeans them to the level of trash they really are.

To answer the question, city officials for shitty areas. As much as big cities are discussed on that (Baltimore, Atlanta, etc.) in my experience it's probably worse in surrounding areas at times.
In Atlanta we've got smaller shitty cities in the suburbs where it is an absolute pain in the arse to get anything done because power brokers in city government control everything. Unsurprisingly, big players don't want to go into these markets, but plenty of existing business owners who want to expand, open new locations, avoid code issues, etc. have to play ball.

College football is probably the biggest scam currently going.
Also, you’re a fool if you don’t think someone on the outside doesn’t have a say in the outcome of games in professional sports.

Patent lawyers strike me as non sketchy attorneys.

I'd put them in the category of medical equipment companies and I would agree. Without even getting into the who wheelchair thing, a made up friend of mine (everyone knows I don't have friends and this is made up
Long story short, he worked for a company that wanted to promote him, but would have had to move out of state. It wasn't something he could do at the time and since he was maxed out in the position he was in he found a job with a medical equipment company. It was an in between job for him, but he said he hated every second of it.
He said most of the job included convincing doctors, PT rehabs, etc to prescribe equipment to patients they really didn't need. In other words, insurances were paying for equipment people really didn't need. So although you were trying to be funny, I would say its an accurate assumption.
