I just want to know how it is humanly possible to say no foul play is suspected and he was rolled in a carpet and plastic. How are police/detectives this incompetent?

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Exhibit A of the Facebook detective squad.

I'd like to hear the interview of the wife speak on Nat Dawgs hunt for hookers and blow...I mean she stated she was scared of her shadow the whole weekend on 3rd St. She came for a few days after and stayed at the same Marriott. The only time she felt safe was in the hotel room

The wife is trying to save face at this point, I think. She probably hid all of this activity from her friends and family at home, but it's hard to hide now when her "husband" is described in a police affidavit as riding around the worst parts of BR looking for dope. All she really has at this point is the bitch and moan and use Kiran to take shots at BRPD for exposing the truth of his night.

Kind of crazy. I've seen Vegas benders involve less self-destructive behavior. Someone must really have a problem if a trip to Baton Rouge sets off the actions that he engaged in

Yeah dude went with the lowest of the low

Mr Nathan would still be alive if he just hung out on 3rd Street that night. He got himself involved with some extremely seedy characters and areas of BR.

Correct. Your chances of dying on 3rd Street from something other than alcohol poisoning is probably less than 1%. Your chances of dying in The Bottoms while riding in a dope rental with a hooker seeking drugs is probably >50%.

That's a good read TigerSEC.

Have to give props to BRPD on this one. They did their due diligence and now they get to pin the disposal of the body on someone. I didn't expect them to have performed as well as they did on this case.

Seems like Kiran should have waited for toxicology to make her interview. From the surface, it just looks like a drunk dude going into a shady part of town looking to do shady things that ended poorly. I'm guessing he got something in him laced with fentanyl.

Yep. Pretty much sums it up. How much more do people need to get this big picture?
Hopefully since it's all out there now the naysayers will take it upon themselves to STFU.

There is a huge group of people that desperately want to believe BR is a complete warzone that is uninhabitable. The reality is that it is a dangerous city without much going for it, but you're unlikely to get murdered in the streets for fun. This story gave that group some ammo because it initially fit their narrative and they don't want to give it up, even when all evidence points to this being a high-risk lifestyle ending poorly.

Damn he was hanging out with hookers and dealers in the Bottom.

I still can’t believe all the ratchetness Millard got himself into in such a small amount of time. Went to the strip club, ok whatever. Stay on 3rd St, find another bar after being kicked out of Happy’s (it’s remarkable Millard was even kicked out of Happy’s, IMHO)

It’s almost like Millard had a death wish by associating himself with these cons/felons, crackheads, and hookers. I’m not even sure there’s any White people living in The Bottom. A lot of the ghetto neighborhoods in BR, there’s a good chance they will kill you if they perceive you to be an outsider, meddling in their neighborhood.

I've never read that he was kicked out. Reports were they refused to serve him and he told his friend he was going back to the hotel.

I was just told today he was kicked out for slapping a waitress' booty. Had no idea.

Meh. If you want to buy drugs, they will sell you drugs.

The part where he gets money from the Greyhound ATM and then tells the security guard if they mug him they won't get his ATM card and puts it in his shoe, then almost immediately upon leaving he loses his wallet. That dude was blasted.

Yeah. This guy had no qualms about going to a bus station with a shady character, meeting hookers under an overpass, and being driven around town in a dope hoopty with a dealer named Stanka. He knew the ropes.

No way this guy should be free in our society. Millard was living a high risk life, but I bet Stanka dealt more than few ODs in his miserable life in the Bottoms.

They have waitresses there now? Whenever I went there during undergrad you ordered at the bar inside or outside, and brought your drinks to a sit down table, or you sat at the bar and drank inside. This was awhile back though.

I wonder if it would be safe to assume that they are waiting on toxicology results to come back, and add murder charges to stanka.
