Yeah I missed the part where he was smoking crack. The people he was round are likely IV users. I was referring to that type of rig.

That's why I missed it. He said it wasn't on Scenic but technically that building has a Scenic address. I was looking the other direction.

I doubt this the driveway of that place exits out on to Lobelia and does not access Scenic.

This thread is moving too fast for me. What's the source saying he was definitely smoking crack?

I know it was reported that the body was decomposed, but I don't recall that it was so decomposed that fingerprints had to be used to ID him.

All of this is speculation but it does appear that the man had a substance abuse problem and we know that he visited the ATM a few times and wandered into an area of BR that a 42 yr old white dude would have no business being in at night, presumably to buy drugs.

He also was seen talking to a homeless guy who probably showed him where to get the drugs. We just don't know if he was murdered and dumped or OD'd and dumped.

May not have been the first time the wife had to go out looking for him.

You think Nathan or Client Josh tossed Nathan's phone intentionally (but left on) because Nathan's wife made him keep a "Find Me" App on his phone at all times?

Criminals that wrap dead bodies in carpet and plastic should also have the common sense to disable the phone by destroying it (not leave it turned on in a field).

Whomever dumped the body there is very familiar with that area

This keeps getting repeated like it’s someone local.

Looks like it’s a couple blocks away from the contractor parking lot at Exxon. Do we know the details of the “construction project” he was in town for?

Thanks.

So-

"We "know" he visited an ATM "a few times"...." is this because the camera on the ATM shows it was him, and not that someone else with his card was taking out money? And how many times is "a few", three? This was all after leaving the bar at 11:30pm?

Is there camera footage of him walking around the hood and talking to homeless people?

I believe there is camera footage of him walking and talking with the homeless guy and he was heading towards the hood. Also, at least one of those ATM withdrawals was in the hood. Once you exit downtown BR heading east and go under the interstate (below) you are in a very bad neighborhood, and it would be pretty obvious fairly quickly to most.

Man just wanted to do drugs and hookers while he was away from his wife and kids. So sad. Could have been me.

Even the plant workers probably don’t even know about those garages. People working in those plants around that area will stay on scenic or Chippewa. No need to drive down lobelia for any reason.

Exxon started buying up all of that property about 20-25yrs ago and clearing the area out. Only someone from that general area, or ties to that area would even know about this place. It’s not a place someone driving around looking for a place to dump a body would stumble across.

These types of ATMs always have low withdrawal limits (under $200) to help rack up fees + limit liability to independent owner of them that may take some of the damage on charge backs.

The number of ATMs that he tried actually doesn’t surprise me at all - if he was trying to marshall his funds for a return trip to Gold Club or Drugs.

I don’t think it was crack based on the figure I heard he withdrew.

This was posted on Facebook on March 4 in a group called Justice for Nathan Millard, apparently by a friend of his wife's. It appears the wife did go to BR the day after he was reported missing. No indication on how long she stayed. quote:

I want to thank everyone for their efforts, findings, and discussing this and what is happening and aiding in finding Nathan. You have invested your lives into a complete stranger…You have put your time and effort into this and are part of the story. We appreciate you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ?? I know everyone is entitled to their opinion and they are allowed to voice it. I just ask that you please remember the family and their friends are part of this group. They see and read the comments, we all do. Please show grace and put the shoes on your own two feet and how YOU would feel if you read those things about a loved one…words do hurt. There is no handbook that tells someone how to handle this. They have a daughter that thinks her daddy is lost, the last thing Amber needs to do is go to the same town and worry her daughter. Her kids need her at home and honestly that's where she belongs right now! They need her, they need each other. Myself and Amber flew into BR the day after he was reported missing. We arrived on Friday. We walked and drove the streets, we saw the area. We aren’t locals. We can’t just go knocking on doors. She is letting the search team and detectives do their job, as they have advised her It’s real easy to do assume things about someone when you aren’t in the situation. You don’t know or understand what she, her children, family, and friends are going through. They are living a nightmare and are trying to get through each day.

I think that post was made by the wife’s sister. The wife doesn’t use Nathan’s last name on fb. His ex wife is remarried and his two oldest sons were adopted and have the step father’s last name. The oldest boy is 19 or 20.

I'm sure there are exceptions but not very many middle aged white people use crack to my knowledge. Probably heroin.
