TLDR but now that the strip club is in the picture, odds are he thought he was meeting a dancer after her shift, he pulled a bunch of cash,
most likely he was pulling cash to go back to the Penthouse, somebody downtown saw him doing it and mugged him etc.

Isn’t this a terrible area of town? Why would you be there at night?
There’s nothing scenic about Scenic Hwy. Several years ago a man was savagely beaten in front of his family outside of his minivan by some tPOS who stated “you’re on the wrong side of town” prior to the beating at a Scenic Hwy gas station. The tPOS was inevitably apprehended and charged as a habitual offender and was sentenced to 40 years.

Is a fact now that he was wandering far away from his hotel/downtown?

That was a textbook example of a "hate crime" but I guess only white people can be charged with those.

From reading this board and various articles; my presumption like many others is that he is likely on a two week bender with the junkies.
Seems to me like this dude had some inner demons in him. 42 year-old raising 5 kids all under the age 14. On a business trip and decided to get drunk at Happy’s and then go to LSU game only if it was for a “photo-op” for his wife’s happiness. After reading that he went to Penthouse after the game and then back to Happy’s makes me think this dude was extremely blacked out and his demons got to him. He left is phone on 7th street which is headed towards the Greyhound station. I believe he wandered East from his hotel looking for either drugs and or hookers to satisfy him. He probably got caught up with the wrong people. It seems like his client knows exactly what is up and probably so does his wife. Hopefully for our sake (residents of BR) we can find out what is going on. Makes me feel better than thinking that this dude was just kidnapped or murdered like I did a week ago.

That’s probably pretty close to reality.

What are the chances this guys on a drug bender and was living behind the fence of that other posters yard?

Cajun Navy might be close to figuring this out.
They called my friend Arnold who has a Production Company and told him they need three freelance cameramen ASAP to ramp up the coverage of their search.

He was charged as a habitual offender and was sentenced to life.

So why pay for an Uber and not just get Nathan to drive?
Well seeing as Nathan wasn’t answering his phone nor presumably a knock at his door, he had no choice.

He'll probably show up in some tent city one day.

That happened on Plank if I recall correctly… honestly a White boy around the hood in BR day or night has a good chance of making it out… folks don’t really prey on “sales” as people seem to believe… I’ve been in the projects with family in New Orleans and have seen White people of all types feel comfortable enough to park on Williow St. and walk through the Magnolia to get dope…

It’s never been reported that any of that was attempted before Josh showed up at the worksite. It was at the worksite that he got worried about Nathan, because he said that Nathan never showed up. It would’ve made more sense to simply knock on his door that morning or make plans in advance to ride together. So why didn’t that happen?

How much money could he have taken out of an ATM? $2000 maybe, don't they have limits? He's not buying drugs wholesale, so the theory he's still on a bender makes no sense to me. My question is - Did he drop/lose his phone or did someone else drop it where it was found?
Posted on 3/4/23 at 1:32 pm to sqerty
A news article said he was seen on video at an ATM (no time reported)near the Greyhound Bus station roughly 8 blocks away.
A man of his background and most people would know what a rough area that is. Probably not his first time doing something like that.
He probably found what he was looking for and was retrieving money for it at the ATM.
I don`t think he was seen on any video after the ATM video near the bus station. (or it hasn`t been reported publicly)
So it looks like something happened to him after that time.

Please elaborate. Are they making a netflix series or something. They don't have GoPros, something similar? Why do they need a camera crew for "coverage"? I would pay to see the Cajun Navy sweep downtown BR on youtube.

My guess is that he was looking for a bus ticket.

Also, every single hotel has an ATM. No one staying in a downtown hotel needs to travel 8 blocks to get to an ATM.
And no one with his life experiences should think there is any good reason to go to a Greyhound bus station for anything other than a Greyhound bus ticket or to hang with circus carnies.
