95% of what she covers is the same shite as every other outlet.
What does this even mean? If it’s newsworthy then it should be covered by every outlet. What would you be reporting about if you were her?

The boomer-style reporting has gotten old.
Again, what does this mean? Do you need a “why it matters” part to help you understand its significance?

Tell me you don’t actually read any of her stuff without telling me…
It’s Baton Rouge. There’s not a ton happening here to begin with, but she almost always scoops the big stations when it comes to details.

extensive drug prevention education and the Campaign "Care for Drug Users"
Yes, we can have a government Program to educate people on the dangers of drug use and we can call it the:
“ if you are caught possessing drugs you will spend a long time in prison and if you are caught dealing drugs you will be executed Program”
Drug dealing and drug abuse causes a lot of crimes against innocent people.
Drug dealer shootouts and stray bullets killing and wounding innocent people in the area.
Police chases when drugs are in possession when the drug heads are being pulled over for a traffic violation.
Traffic accidents with innocent people and shootouts with the police are common.
Theft and robberies by the drug addicts for money to feed their addiction.
Young girls getting hooked into drugs and being pimped out by the drug dealers as prostitutes to feed their addiction.
The list goes on and on and is the root cause of a lot of the crime problem now.

I had hope for Kiran. I thought she could be a true challenger to the traditional BR media, but she has fizzled out hard. Her articles are horribly written and 95% of what she covers is the same shite as every other outlet.
Just last week she scooped BOTH big Baton Rouge news outlets by over 12 hours on the 17 yr old killing an 11 yr old.
She's doing the Lords Work.

As long as the reporting is accurate and objective. Weakening focus on these tenets through the drive to be first is part of what's killing traditional media outlets.

While true, I’d submit that ignoring certain events and reporting trivial and worthless stories as news to be more egregious and more prevalent in the BR “news” market. (Ie Nakamoto completely ignoring the shite show that is BR while he “investigates” some shite politician in a neighboring parish).

We don't know that he didnt arrive with more. He could've had 300 on him before he hit an ATM. or more

South BR crash related to Nathan Millard case, officials say BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A driver fleeing from police crashed into another vehicle Tuesday afternoon, March 21, sending both drivers to a hospital with minor injuries. Detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department say they were working in a neighborhood Tuesday, trying to gain more information on the Nathan Millard case. In particular, they were seeking more information about possible prostitution in the area. As they walked up to a house early Tuesday afternoon, detectives said a man in a nearby white car quickly took off. That man ran a stop sign and crashed into an unrelated vehicle at the corner of Terrace and Napoleon, police say. Police were not yet chasing after the man as he had just taken off when the crash happened. He was transported to the hospital along with the female driver of the other car. Both had minor injuries.
And still no update on the motive for this person fleeing the scene, not even a name, outstanding warrants and the result of the search of him and his car.
He was arrested and that`s all we know.
If police can find out what house he was at before fleeing, it`s highly probable criminal activity is ongoing there and it may have something to do with the Millard case.

A lot of new posters (brsucks, mamey111, lookeylookeylookey, schmuga, HBDTigaz) in this thread (5-20 posts, most only in this thread) dumping on Kiran and have information about this case. I am curious if they are coming from a common group.
You rocked in this thread, Mikebr (along with breauxsif and fr33).

Not sure where I dumped on Kiran. Just stated that she corroborated a lot of what Mikelbr has put out in this thread. And wondered if his posts might be one of her sources. And, no, I'm not here with a group.

I know no one, lol, but I may stick around, thanks for the entertainment. Have lurked TD in the past for random stuff but I was strangely obsessed with the unnecessary shitestorm stemming from this case so I took a peek here and got all wrapped up in this thread. I would assume the same for the others but I can't speak for them-I mean this case was blown way out of proportion nationwide and it's in our backyard.
I think Kiran is alright, we need more people like her out there-but I have to agree that she missed the mark on this case.
Nothing that came out surprised me-pretty much knew dude was doing his thing, and now his last 24 are on blast for all of the world to see. Surprising, no...just plain sad. Obviously his 'wifey'/fam wanted closure, so I hope they have it now.
Also, I doubt the POS STANKA had some grand scheme to purposely sabotage Nate-he was just doing his thang, living minute to minute.
Drugs are bad.

More than likely open warrants out of the 19th JDC. The street crime units don’t patrol The Bottom in marked cruisers, thus; the idiot saw the cops dismount out of unmarked cruisers, panicked, fled the scene, and ultimately caused the wreck.

There was only one person booked into the jail yesterday that had charges seemingly related to a crash. Charles Buckles

Nope, no conspiracy to see here, lone equal opportunity dumper. I think KC is building a brand, and reporting what is necessary to build that brand. I think she has a particular audience to satisfy to do that (just go see all the FB comments!), and her reporting of this case has catapulted her popularity.
BR does have a crime problem and the leadership has to own that and be held accountable, that’s one thing the press is for, and she’s doing that which is good.
She did dig harder than others, which is also commendable, and I honestly haven’t paid much attention to her until this story. But I’m a little bothered by some stuff she left out initially that I feel like was filtered, not Unfiltered.
As for information on the case, everything I got was on the internet, some from Facebook groups until they made them private. I’ve only recently come back to TG after a many year hiatus, and did so specifically because of this case. I’m sure I even had an old ID, but I couldn’t find it or remember it. Getting old I guess.

It is now being reported investigative documents are being filed on mysterious phone calls the “wife” received on Nathan’s phone days after his body was found. Pretty much the unknown person saying it was a set up to rob him and the body was placed elsewhere by a “dumpster and rail road” before they moved it to where it was found.

Hard to believe since Nathan didn't have a personal cell. He only had his work phone and that phone was given to his client the day he was reported missing and he mailed it to the company that Nathan worked at, that following day. I think that info is just bull chit
Posted on 3/22/23 at 5:43 pm to BRsucks
I totally agree it’s bullshite. I am just repeating what WBRZ just reported and all the Facebook detectives are going “I told y’all there is more”
What they fail to realize is how convenient those phone calls came in after the body was found and all those details were released to the public. They are trying so hard to make it more than what it was.
