I am hoping there is a happy ending to this story; however, it doesnt look good. Does anyone know where his card was used after the disappearance?

This article from Atlanta's WSB-TV has some clues - assuming this is who you're talking about:
quote:
BATON ROUGE, La. — A Walton County woman is praying for a miracle and hoping that her husband will return home safely. Baton Rouge Police are looking for 42-year old Nathan Millard, who was last seen on February 23rd.
“I’m heartbroken. It’s a nightmare that I want to wake up from. This is my worst nightmare,” said Amber Millard.
Millard told Channel 2's Larry Spruill her worst nightmare is, unfortunately, a reality. Her husband, 42-year old Nathan Millard, is missing. Millard said he left Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Wednesday, for a business trip to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
“Wednesday night, he and I Facetimed. He was able to get college basketball tickets. He and I Facetimed, while he was there and that was at 7:30 Georgia time,” she said.
That was the last time Amber said she talked to her husband.
“He never made it back to his hotel and it’s just an open investigation, for a missing person,” Millard said.
She said Baton Rouge Police are going off several clues.
“We do have transactions that his debit card has been used. His phone was located about four blocks from the hotel. He was staying at the Marriott right in downtown,” said Millard.
Millard said the last few days have been tough for her and her family, especially for their daughter.
“He just attended the Daddy/Daughter dance with his daughter. He’s a good daddy. I go from, you know, one minute, not accepting reality to gut wrenching sick to my stomach,” she said.
Right now, she’s hoping for the best.
“I’m praying for a miracle, that he makes it home safely to us,” said Millard.
Millard told Spruill that police are going through security video of the area. They’re asking anyone with any information, to call CRIMESTOPPERS- (225) 344-7867.
Millard is 5'9, 180 pounds and was wearing a green ball cap, black shirt and blue jeans.

I’m sure the Mayor and police chief are very concerned about the whereabouts of this white devil and the negative image his disappearance projects on our fair city.

Julian Sands is older than 40, and I don't think they've found him yet.

I know it isn't breaking news, but reading this article just frames it a little bit more. Hopefully we learn more about this case, but it just continues to highlight what a soul-sucking shithole this place is.

As an airline pilot, we used to stay at a hotel downtown. I used to tell the rest of the crew to NOT go walking around downtown and especially not at night. Eat at the hotel and stay in the hotel. Unfortunately, out-of-towners have no idea how dangerous downtown BR is.

I would expect the local police to have checked the river.

Especially from out of town, by yourself, and probably having a few cocktails?

He went to LSU men's basketball game? Have they considered suicide? Seriously though, does not look good.

I did see a statement from SWB on the news this morning regarding the shooting of the teenage girl on I-110 and how "they" will make every effort to apprehend the people responsible.
Haven't seen a peep from any of the authorities about this white guy disappearing. Not sure why.

He's taken a lover, a voodoo woman named Phyllis.

Same thing with the Allie Rice murder. Broome could care less and it’s shameful. I hope they find the 42 year old man, but it’s not looking good at all. The whole finding the phone and the debit card usage is bad, real bad.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the debit card was used at a local Walmart to obtain gift cards that could be used as cash, a typical hoodrat scam. Or it was used at some NBR convenient store.

Damn. Traveling solo and wanted to enjoy a game instead of sitting in his room and never comes home. Brutal.

It's really not very dangerous at all. I mean I wouldn't venture to far out of downtown, but downtown itself is pretty dead on weekdays and on weekends there are police all over. I mean, shite there is literally a police station on the 2 block route from Happys to his hotel...
I have to think he actively got himself into some nefarious stuff, or he got so drunk that he ventured somewhere he shouldnt have. The fact that they didn't release the location his debit card was used is a little strange to me. Unless the family doesn't want it getting out? Or the business trying to avoid bad publicity? I'm not sure how that works, buy I'd think the police would want to give the public more information to work with in case somebody saw something.
