Toilet paper
Razors
Fireworks
Oreo thins (or any thins cookies): If I want two cookies, if they are thins, I grab four.
Also, there are a lot of different products that redesigned their packaging so that it appears you are getting more product, when you are really not, yet the bumped up the prices.

Hebrew National hot dogs come in a pack of 7 for some insidious reason.
I didn't realize that. I've only ever had their beef knockwurst, it's been a while and now I'm wanting some! Anyway, 7 seems an odd number, wonder how they came up with that?

Select a size sux. You rip two off for a "whole" and it ends up falling apart mid cleanup.

Capital gains taxes, health insurance, pharmaceuticals, red light cameras, pvc pipe no longer being made with a built in coupler, sewage charges on water used to fill a pool, dealership add ons, civil forfeiture, cell phone screen prices, riverside towing, forced emotional hot button issues that are only mentioned by candidates never by sitting politicians, collect phone calls from jail, cigarette prices, the 1040 long form and all the needed sub forms, carnival games, the church of scientology and the sewage and water board.
All those then paper towels.
But I can't remember last time I had full size.

By now means am I an expert on either, but my basic understanding is that both of these investments essentially takes money from Peter to pay Paul.
When President Bush tried to privatize portions of our SS contributions many of our esteemed politicians were there to inform us that this wouldn't work because the contributions collected today are needed to pay the distributions that are owed today.
