I think you need to reread my post a little slower

I think it probably is. We don’t have separate bathrooms and drinking fountains now but due to the way the media pushes things, i would say it created a worse situation.
There is so much anti-white media stuff now days that it’s making white folks hate blacks even more cause it gets old seeing how it’s wrong to be white

It's an interesting question. Overt racism was much worse during the Jim Crow era. Now, since the Civil Rights Act was passed in1964, blacks are technically "equal". I'm not sure how many people, White or black, actually believe that, but ... DC says we're equal.
All other things being equal (cet. par., as one of my favorite Economics professors beat into my rock hard head), I'm still happy I was born white, rather than black.

What is that graph referencing?
A question that proves the graph. Seeing as the title of the graph clearly states what it represents, we now have an example of illiteracy.

The modern tractor wasnt perfected until this time.
1890 at the absolute latest. The world was trending towards it anyway.Well the European world at least. And slaves were very expensive to upkeep.

2. A potential lag behind other western powers technologically. All other modern nations had already abolished slavery.
Now this is just stupid. What does technological advancement have to do with slaves?

3. Every other social movement may just be delayed. Civil Rights would still not be granted in most Southern states and some Union ones until far later in the timeline. A natural end to slavery would not prevent societal oppression.
I think you are fundamentally wrong here. If you force people to do something and shove it down their throat there’s going to be a natural backlash. If it happens on its own accord and they choose to do it it is a much easier time. I think race relations would have been better had it been allowed to happen organically. Maybe another generation. But it was coming. And then you would have seen more settlements like Liberia and also some ethnic conclaves Within the US.

To the original question, I think less racist generally, but there is a strong public push by mainstream conservatives to legitimize racism today, which is very destructive. More intellectual conservatives are in a tough spot. However, the present core of conservatism is anti-intellectual. They are embracing racism as some kind of pride movement, which is nonsense.

I’d say we sure talk about race more than any other time in history.

No
Racism has a meaning. In the 40s, it was very common for white people to think black people were inferior on account of their race or borderline subhuman.
If you want to argue we're more racially obsessed or divided, that would also be ridiculous, but there may be some nugget of truth to it. This whole "blacks are more racist" shite is ridiculous. I may have met one or two legitimately racist black people in my life. I've met a shite ton of militantly race-obsessed black people, though, and there is a difference.
Just like there is a big difference between white people not wanting to live around black communities, and the outright belief that people in the black community are somehow inherently lesser human beings.
