actually, it's because I live around a bunch of middle class types that don't have tats. No need for me to associate with the scum of the earth

I have met many professionals with every range of salaries from lower middle class to upper class prestige professions who have tattoos. Threads like this make me think that most of the OT lives under a rock

I'm pretty sure they don't mean people with small mostly unnoticeable tattoos. More like people with vibrant tattoos such as giant flames or a skull, or a snake winding all over one arm.

If the first thing you notice about someone is their tattoos, then they probably have a lot, at least in my experience.

Never judge a book....you know the old saying.

I have 2 tats, make a nice living, and have a few years of higher education. Didn't get my first tattoo until I was 30, out of college, and had a kid. Not all tattoos are a product of someone's whim. But, you go ahead and judge people if you want.

how so?
Seriously, isn't that obvious?

You don't judge people on their character, you judge them on whether they have tats or not.

You thought I had tats, judging again, incorrectly at that. I have none.

You'd pick your physician not based on his quality of work, but how many tats he has.

But YOU question the decision making of those with tats. Can't even make up a funnier sequence than that.

So you're backtracking and saying you would NOT ask for a new doctor with less tats if you saw your doctor had a bunch of tats?

At least own your statement, don't crawfish out of it.

Surgical oncologist. Am I saying that right? She operates on kids with cancer so whatever that medical field is called.

Your decision making is infinitely more questionable than someone with tats.

I think leg tattoos, specifically chicks, are trashy. Especially on the thigh.

Visable on face, neck, knuckles, etc... ? Yes.

Easily hidden by pants and button down? No.

Tattoos say one thing. That you are too mentally unstable to not act on every stupid whim you get like paying money to brand yourself with your most recent thought.

I'm at the DMV and the ones who look the poorest seems to be directly proportional to how many visible tattoos they have.

What does the OT think about visible tattoos?

I don't see the big deal. I was on site today at one of my projects and of the masons was fairly inked up. He was the hardest working guy on the site, very knowledgeable, and competent at his job. Good possibility he makes more than a lot of engineers/architects that supervise him too.

I bet if you stood behind him at the DMV you'd still make this thread.
