of course it could also be said that, since you joined the Navy, you've already been plagued by some bad decisions ...not counting your tats...LOL
just fricking with you.

Like everything else, it's not a 100% deal, but yea, the average person with a face tat is probably not as intelligent or doesn't make decisions as well as the average person without one.
Ehh, I think it is close enough that we can round up to 100% on people with face tattoos being bad decision makers. Generic tattoos, sure there are plenty of exceptions, but a face tattoo of any kind is an awful decision.

Military is always exempt from this argument. Always will be.

I don't see the big deal. I was on site today at one of my projects and of the masons was fairly inked up. He was the hardest working guy on the site, very knowledgeable, and competent at his job. Good possibility he makes more than a lot of engineers/architects that supervise him too
There are exceptions to EVERYTHING. One example isn't enough to change the entire stigma, obviously. Good for that guy btw. See if you can find more examples like that guy, instead of the stereotyped tattooed individual.

I did see a couple in the grocery the other day, tattoos all over the face, neck, arms and legs, both of them. The man had those ring things in his nose and all around his mouth, must have had 6 of them. The lady had them over her eyes.
They had 3 little girls with them, all under the age of 5.
