Many times someone on here has ask the OT help in voting on some stupid contest like player of the week, best tailgate, funniest video etc. I usually click on the thing vote for them because they ask and who cares right? I have often wonder did that person win because of the rant or were they going to win anyway. ( The cause and effect verse mere association argument for you smart people.)

Well here is the perfect chance to find out. My nephew, Cole Mayet, a defensive player is up for player of the week in Baton Rouge area. He had 15 tackles and 4 sacks which is an incredible game. He is Senior and probably going to one of the Air Force academies to serve our country like his Uncle. He is up against two deserving offensive players and getting smoked.

So if you want to see if the rant is really all that too, just like defensive players, Cajuns, really good “Yes Sir and No Sir” type kids or for whatever reason you can think of, please click on the link and vote for him for WBRZ football player of the week. I will make him personally thank the “rant” in TV if he wins because no way he does without help here. LINK

It could be, but I won't vote for your nephew when you try and use reverse psychology to make me do it.

There's more than one United States Air Force Academy?

There’s only one Air Force Academy. It’s in Colorado.

If he’s interested in going that route, encourage him to go to the Naval academy. It’s looked on equally or higher than Ivy League and the Navy program is amazing. Wish I knew my options at that age.

Hmm...what if his nephew is not really Cole but one of the OTHER kids competing and he's trying to trick everyone into voting against Cole?
