Plaquemine - I had a meeting in Plaquemine and was running late.
I planned on picking up my burger, driving to the meeting, and eating in the parking lot.
When I opened the Quarter Pounder with Cheese box, the beef patty was completely missing.

McDonalds on Claiborne followed closely by the McDonalds on St Charles.

On the flip side the BK Lounge on St Charles was great. Ms Wanda always treated you right. They even gave me free fries one time. Too bad it burned down.

If you believe the Next Door crowd in Baton Rouge, the Jones Creek/Coursey Blvd location gets the award for the worst.

That is the one I went to as a kid. Before the Essen location was built. When they took your order with a pencil and paper.

Jefferson Hwy at the end of Causeway Blvd is one of the worst I've stepped in.

Kinda hard to be the worst when they're never open. That Popeyes across the street is actually better than the others in the area.

To get a DQ Blizzard, a hooker, and some meth, all in the same parking lot?

Amateurs.

That dumpy one on Perkins near Lee is pretty bad.

I hate all McDonalds in general, but you are right. That one appears to be falling to pieces on the outside. No telling what it's like inside, because ever since covid, no one is allowed in any of the ones in our area.

I remember just before covid, the girl at the drive through window told me they were going to be tearing that location down in a few weeks, and building a new one on that site. Obviously their plans have changed. I wonder just how long they can keep it going at this stage.

Unfortunately, I have to go to them occasionally because my 101 year old dad likes quarter pounder with cheese meals. At his age, who am I to tell him no?

I don't know but the taco bell in Gulf port made me swear off taco bell for years.
The burger King in Kenner put me off of burger King for life.

Never been to the one in Geismar, but however bad it is, the one on Clearview and West Metairie in Metairie gives it a run for its money.

McDonalds and Burger King have fallen so low, they've crashed through the floor. My kids don't believe me when I tell them of a time when going to McDonalds was actually fun, the food was decent, they got your order right, and they had great birthday parties.
