Only when I put it between your buns.

It's considered good

Meat between bread =sandwich

Technically yes, but culturally, no.
Just like a tomato is technically a fruit, but is used as a vegetable, a hot dog (like a hamburger) is a sandwich, but is culturally its own thing.

What about a grilled cheese sandwich?

If you accidentally split the hot dog bun into 2 pieces when you're putting the weiner in then it becomes a sandwich

No, there is a hinge that connects the two breads. Because of this, hotdogs are technically tacos.

Or a cream cheese and cucumber sandwich

No. It's considered a hotdog

No, it's a cooked rice dish.

False - it’s several ingredients thrown together for a savory dish = salad

A salad is ingredients that are not cooked together. It is basically tossing already pre-readied ingredients together.
Jambalaya requires all of its ingredients to be cooked together. Not a salad.

Tuna salad is cooked

I’m a radical sandwich anarchist
Edit: a pop tart is a fricking sandwich baws
