Vigilante was a poor word choice, but I get the sentiment - regular citizens doing the work of the government because the government response is inadequate.

No, she used it correctly in her mind. It all goes back to the report of rescuers being shot at or hearing gunshots that got everyone in an uproar, which followed with the rumor of rescuers carrying guns to fire back or to pick and choose who to not rescue. It got turned into vigilante justice for looters.

Also, let's not forget that, while rescuing folks in flood ravaged Texas, all those Cajun Navy folks rallied to the cause of going after this person on the internet. Thus, again being vigilantes.

Government has been involved but they don't have the resources to upscale this type of operation. This type of response by citizens is exactly what was expected when the country was formed.

Hey Krista, I agree with you. A vigilante rescue organization.

Am I the only one that heard Walton and Johnson call her out this morning? Later today I'll have to go find the segment on the app to post here. They said her full name and all. It was glorious!

That bitch is dense. Most people would have learned their lesson, but she's a functioning retard.

Functioning is highly questionable.

As a Senator why are you not passing legislation to help fix the "red tape" issues instead of utilizing a vigilante organization?

Also...is she thinking that they are now called in by the government rather than being what they actually are, private citizens (people) helping other people?

I'm sure their libel attorneys are much better than whatever Kibbles has access to.

So, the government is supposed to just have a fleet of small boats available in every region of the country gathering dust and maintenance costs until a disaster hits? Frankly, groups like the cajun navy are much better suited to respond. Now, maybe the fed could set up some kind of communication network for them, but they'd probably over-complicate it.

She is pissed people aren't buying "relief supplies" through her Amazon wishlist.

All those special ed kids in Houston shelters need their salt lamps dammit!

1) Kennedy is trying to score political points. The "red tape" comment has very little to do with rescue efforts. There's no red tape there. It's just tough to organize resources in general. The red tape comes when with the relief.

2) Again, Krista isn't going to say anything relevant or intelligent. And that's partly on purpose. Gary had Alton. She has the Cajun Navy. She's not going to shut up about it now. She's going to use it saying the dumbest things possible to bring attention to herself.

I nearly spit up my coffee as soon as they said "Extreme left, liberal left wing nut job from Baton Rouge bashed the cajun navy." I was driving and knew exactly who they were talking about and THEN they said her name and couldn't help but die laughing.

all it takes is one poster from the OT to piss her off in public so that she physically assaults one of members of the OT
