I haven't been since 2009. Is it still good or not worth the time/money?

You trying to put some meat on her bones?

It's ok, but you can get a better meal for the same money unless you just want to consume massive quantities of food.

Nothing in Baton Rouge is as good as it was 10 years ago.

I've never been, but my impression of those places from what I've heard is that the steaks aren't that great of quality. You just pay for the large quantity. Accurate in your opinion?

Salad bar is the best part

It’s still good. Just expensive

It honestly was never good. Just mediocre food in large quantities.

I go to Louisiana de Brazil
The food is way better and you get more for your money and the people aren’t smug

If you don’t feel like eating a shite ton of salty meat, you can do just the salad bar for $20. It’s excellent.

It's good if you enjoy massive amounts of meat.
But I do get tired of the inconsistency in the serve time. You'll sit there a few minutes waiting on food, then all of a sudden be bombarded by servers at once.
Would be nice to have more organization on what types of meat you are served and the timing.

The pros are the ability to sample several different cuts of steak as well as several other proteins in one sitting. They have an excellent salad, soup, etc. bar.
The cons. If you plan on consuming a normal portion of food, the price doesn't match up with the quality of the food.
I don't mind going when someone wants to go, but I never suggest it.

Basically. Go to a good butcher, get some prime ribeye and some lamb (really only the two things there I REALLY like.)
and cook them up right.
You can make fantastic meals on a budget, just have to have the skills and patience
