Because you’re not thinking of the entire town when you’re thinking short term

I assume it is because the FED GOV mandates these things before giving out $$$ after Katrina. That’s 100% what happened to Slidell and those shite apts off Spartan Dr. obama made them install basically HUD houses

Meaning? If Slidell as a whole and Salem has gone downhill bc of these builds, it affects me the whole town. It seems the Northshore is in a race to ruin itself. Have you driven in Covington to Folsom? It’s so trashy on Hwy. 190/Collins.

Eden Isle Overall Slidell is underrated Mandeville is nicer but Slidell on the water is a good place to live

Here are the active houses for sale in Eden Isles and Oak Harbor. Once again, there’s a reason for this.

not as snobby as mandeville,

Snobby people are the worst. A bunch of assholes who live 2 ft from their neighbor trying to live a certain way because they don't want people to think a certain way about them. It takes a lot of low self esteem to be in that situation.

Below I-12 - flooding.

I thought post-Katrina, that the levees and flood control was changed. Such that the last time water got shoved into Lake Pontchartrain LaPlace and Madisonville became the victims while Slidell was protected?

Been gone a while and haven't kept up.

We have one in Covington. There also is another one on West Esplanade in Kenner.

Every house that we built in (Slidell, Covington), we were advised to build north of I-12.

Can anyone explain this to me? I'm stumped

In cali y'all call it the 10.

That same interstate passes through Slidell. But it's just I-10. Interstate 10.

So with I-12, interstate 12, don't come down here and start calling it the 12.

I live in Abita. The crime stats are actually worse in Covington than Slidell. In terms of crime, it goes like this. Mandeville, Slidell and then Covington pulling up the rear.

I think I had this argument with you before.

I live north of Covington, almost to Folsom. There are people in Abita that live closer to that crime part of Covington than I do. But my mailing address is Covington.

Crime in North Covington, Claiborne Hill area.
Covington area (unincorporated area by Hwy 21) is totally safe. It borders with Madisonville.

And abita is a stones throw from there.

Well, there are TEN (10) still existing, including ones in Houma, Jacksonville, Shreveport, Covington, Kenner, Elmwood, one on the West Bank and 2 in Georgia.

Yes, I agree with you. It’s so sketchy from Claiborne Hill area to Abita.

then you have to worry about a Favre getting doped up and smashing your mailbox or stealing your bass boat.
