Not exactly true, at least around here. This past new years people were shooting them every night a few days before Christmas thru Jan 3 at least. Surprisingly this week hasn't been bad at all. Heard a few going off a few neighborhoods away earlier but other than that pretty quiet.

Anyone in Mid-City/Goodwood see this gem on Netdoor earlier today?

That is much different than around the 4th. Other times as long as it's not late or going for an extended period of time.

Mine do as well, too much. They run through the house going crazy trying to get out to chase the damn things across the sky.

I would hate this douche bag if he was my neighbor.

Shooting fireworks in general is trashy no matter what day of the year it is.

You could say America is all about shooting first and asking questions later.

All fireworks this year have been deemed to be a celebration of marriage equality. Pop on!

Fireworks are trashy in general.

Know a grunt that got back from Iraq and his first NYE every time his neighbors shot off firecrackers, he was looking for cover.

Shooting them on the 4th is trashy too if you live in a city.

Hopefully you don't live in my area because I light the fricking sky up twice a year.. And if you think I'm trashy then you need to spend your summers in the Hamptons.

Been sent tv news stories here about how fireworks can freak these guys out. The local VA has given them signs to post in their yard about how people should give them some respect and slack on fireworks.

I intend to piss all my new neighbors off tomorrow night. In-laws own a fireworks stand so I stock up at cost.

I have no problem being trashy. And if that huge doucher above lived in my neighborhood I would send kids down to light strands of firecrackers off on his front porch regularly.

Lots of trashy people live in big houses. It's how you act that defines you, not how much money you have. I saw a post on another board from a lady in Bocage who said it couldn't possibly be trashy because her neighbors did it.

Shooting fireworks is the epitome of trashy. If you do anything that Joe Dirt did you can bet it's trashy. It's a good waste of money and and somebody in Louisiana will lose a hand today because of it. I'm not judging I'm more trashy than most. Trashy can be fun at times.

Eta. It's also trashy to DP
