Saw a story that a guy robbed a bank in Covington. You can't get away with that. The money will be flagged and the dumbass stole a car too. It's pretty much impossible to get away with robbing a bank today with technology.

The only thing I can think of that's dumber is stealing a credit card and then using it. The transactions can be tracked, and the card cancelled to boot.

It's exponentially easier to get away with murder.

Some dumbass stole my credit card number and paid their bills with it. AT&T, Entergy etc

there are ways around all of this, but they require someone to think harder than you are right here

Not all money is tagged. The key is telling them you want loose cash only.

Explain it then Al Capone. Sire you can go to the gas station with stolen money, but I don't think people rob banks to make sure they can get their Big Gulp every day with no financial strain.

You can't wash money you robbed from a bank.

You still live to rob another day.

Dumbest crooks, who won’t be with us for long, are ones robbing a gun store during operating hours.

Exactly. You just have to be smart about it. Tell them no marked bills and no funny business. Also, bring your own bag or they’ll give you one with that huge $ on it that the cops are trained to look for.

The same thing happened to me. The thief paid his cell phone and other bills with my card, but he got away with it. My card company admitted that they won't even bother since it was only $1000 of charges. They told me I could pursue it myself if I wanted, but the cops probably wouldn't care that much. Apparently they often get away with this shite if the fraudulent charges aren't too high.

it may be the worst ration of likely reward to potential penalties in terms of financially-based crimes

Break large bills at the dollar menu. I could hit 100 fast food drive thrus in a day, if I really wanted. Start early, they won't deposit until the end of day and be none the wiser until it's too late.

I saw a documentary once where this team held a bank hostage while they made a false wall in the back of a storage room. The leader of the group hid in this false wall for a couple of weeks until everything cooled down. Then, he just walked out the front door with the loot. Pretty crazy what robbers will do.

It's easy and risk free when you do it from the executive suite with Congress in your pocket.

How many hundreds do you think are being used at McD?

It’ll be easy to get pictures of you from the security camera paying with the bills even if you get away at the time.

I didn't say hundreds. Use a 20, buy a drink. That's $19 change back to you, clean...do that 100 times a day. $1900 in clean money daily.
